I really don't think there is a come back for either Ellen or Meghan. They both have been outed as being mean and disingenuous. Meghan treated her staff badly also just like Ellen.
I don't think Ellen was exactly cancelled. Her ratings have been dropping for years and I believe it was because of her arrogance. You could tell she was trying to belittle big stars that the public loved and made them visually uncomfortable. The show also had a trash factor and that didn't help.
I remember reading an interview by Caprice when it came out Harry and Meghan were moving to LA, and she said he'll find it difficult friend wise because he's always had genuine friends but he won't find that in LA/Hollywood, it's who can what for who. She said she'd made more genuine friends in the short time she'd been in London than all the time she'd spent in LA. Paraphrasing there but that was the gist of it.

Prince Philip was a Royal in his own right by birth. Circumstances changed his direction but he was never a spare. He quite correctly walked behind his wife, the Queen, and he was perfectly fine with that. I believe they had a very happy marriage and my favorite moment was when he dressed as one of the guards and she walked by, we don't know what he said but she had a giggle over the whole thing! That is a happy marriage.
Well she is nothing without him, he is obviously the drawcard. I doubt he will ever be free of her plus she has the children to use against him and given his own "miserable" childhood surely he wouldn't abandon them to become her meal ticket.
No idea why you judge Prince Philip so harshly. He knew when they married what the situation would be and accepted it. They were both shocked when her father died relatively young and had to adjust, but they had a very loving relationship and family life. He did comment at some point that if he came within 5 yards of a woman the nasty rumours mongers would jump in to action to spread salacious gossip. Nothing has changed there!
Meghan was never a part of Hollywood. That's why she ended up in Toronto, where Suits was filmed. She only got that minor role through her then-husband Trevor.

That pen was a Parker 51, the pen of the late Queen, Eisenhower, and the pen used for the surrender of the Nazis…history. My dad carried one on active duty and I bought a nice Parker 51 with a converter and cartridges. The down side of fountain pens is you have to check them frequently..and that was the wrong day for the leak.

I didn’t find the Kings upset about the pen distressing. He had been through an endless barrage of attention given the passing of his Mother and his instant ascendancy to the throne. I have no doubt he was utterly exhausted. To then sit, likely near complete exhaustion; with the surround of people and the barrage of paperwork and attendants giving him direction and his own internal emotions and energy utterly depleted; to have a stupid pen blot onto the historic documents he was signing, would push any human to “the brink”. poor man had just lost his mother, was in the spotlight and was grieving, he is also a man, it seems to me, who likes order and that pen just simply got the brunt of frustration--it was funny but not to King Charles, can completely understand and empathize--he would have been tired/overwhelmed/grief-stricken and a million other feelings

I was thinking of "Pengate" and King Charles just the other day. How very sad it must have been for him. Knowing that the sole reason he was even signing was due to his mother's passing, anyone's frustration level would be "a hair's breadth". Harry doesn’t understand how many people in Los Angeles want a piece of him. Many therapists would like to have him in their office; he is a royal after all (or was). The lawyers, PRs, hairdressers, pre interview make up artists and all those ‘yes’ people. Whereas, when he was part of the Royal Family, they only wanted him to work for which he had a guaranteed income. I don’t think he is happy in the US with mounting problems such as his visa. We all know here that (a) he has been a drug user for a very long time and (b) Eton has a terrible reputation for drug taking. Prince William was protected because he knew that his destiny was watching and worked very hard to gain good grades that would eventually take him to St Andrews University where he met the Catherine, Prince of Wales now.
