Most people think highly of the royal family even in Hollywood and also most people don't like families to be publicly trashed like what M&H did to the royal family. These two underestimated the popularity of the royals.

She can’t sue it will expose her for being worse than the accusations. All the people that signed NDAs would happily testify against her in court with no fear of retaliation. Her not suing in this case tells everyone it’s true. the best option she has is to threaten. They do not want to end up in court over this - it would be worse than Depp v. Heard.

NDA's have no stance in cases of abuse. Emotional, psychological, or physical abuse all negate an NDA. Those people would be free to testify against her in court. Ms. Know-it-All Meghan should tread carefully.

The "Hollywood Reporter" is esteemed as a reliable US entertainment publication for the industry insiders mostly. Meghan should think twice about annoying the management of that publication with legal threats that would not hold. Meghan and Harry should also conserve legal funds for very serious needs not reputation hits that are true enough to be legally published in public. There is a true cure - be a great boss, and a discrete, kind, and pleasant person on-going. Change can be great!
