It looks like Meghan's real problem is insecurity: you can tell she was bullied for her size, causing her to feel bad about herself. And there's nothing wrong with having those feelings- we all go through it. The problem arises when insecurity turns to jealousy, which then leads to projection. I believe this to be the root cause of her hypocrisy towards slimmer girls as well as her ignorance to thin-centric problems. Bitterness is her demon and she needs to overcome it because it's effecting her music and herself.

We don't need to shame other people's body types just to raise another type. Love ALL body types. She doesnt understand that and sounds cocky in most of her songs. I can't stand it.

I always thought her song ‘Dear future husband’ was satire, like she’s saying “men have all these ridiculous standards for women, so what if I had all these ridiculous standards for men.” That’s just how I interpreted it, I could be wrong I really don’t like the message she sends with most of her songs either way.

Geez. I was anorexic and it was extremely hard to come back from. For me it wasn't about losing weight at first. In the beginning I was very depressed and coped by not eating. And after the weight was dropping off, I started modeling. So that kept me from gaining any weight back. But when I started seeing my bones, I felt very ugly and I hated my body. Atm I gained back 20 pounds so I am proud of that. I have 30 to go. But yeah. It's a bad cycle honestly.

Then asked her mom to make her a sandwich. I have struggled with an eating disorder on and off for a year. I know what it’s actually like. You can’t just flip a switch and say “oh wow i’m gonna be anorexic” you develop an eating disorder. She basically invalidated everyone out this with an eating disorder. Anorexia is not a choice. It’s not just “eating very little” it’s a fucked up thing. Anorexia is wearing baggy clothes just so you don’t have to see your body. It’s starving yourself for days on end, just to feel pretty. It’s losing your period for months, along with your hair. It’s excercising for hours and hours just to burn the calories you haven’t even ingested. It’s not being able to look at your body without crying. It’s weighing yourself multiple times a day. So don’t even fucking tell me that i’m in the wrong or anything if the sort. Re-evaluate yourself before commenting.

honestly, i'm so happy that someone finally brought up the fact that just because someone is skinny it doesn't mean they're happy or content with their body. i have a bony structure, i struggle to eat what some would say is a small portion, and atm i'm trying to get healthier and 'fix' my mindset. everyday people compliment and insult my body, and ironically people who compliment me end up pointing out my flaws, compliments scare me nonetheless because they give a positive view on my body while i resent it so much. i'm sorry for whining but again, thank you for bringing the new point of view, it's a relief.

Agree with all of this, but also on an episode of The Four, she was clearly playing favourite with Zhavia and trying to stop anyone from even challenging her for a sing off. When someone (Kendall ?) finally did challenge her, she was amazing and all the other judges thought so. But Meghan kept acting like she wasn’t and didn’t want to let her through. Meghan got outvoted and Kendall took Zhavia’s spot and Meghan started CRYING. It was so unprofessional and she was obviously biased and UGHHH.
