Awesome to see these figures back, brings back lots and of memories and nostalgia, would love it if Hasbro would do a re launch of the Gijoe adventure team
They did, but it didn't go over so well. I forget the year but they put out a bunch of $10 figs at Wal-Mart...the 1970 AT lineup. This was not long after the massive 40th Anniversary series (rereleasing figs and accessories from 1964) ended. The whole 1/6th era ended then as well. Whew, what a TON of great 1/6th scale items we got from Hasbro and 3rd party creators. I was expecting a larger release from the OT era but the sales just weren't there. Plus, stores like Wal-Mart wanted no part of the "big box" items anymore. What I would have given for a perfect rerelease of the Mummy's Tomb set! Also, there was a very amazing line of repros done by the GI Joe collectors club. They were pricey but worth it, imo. Track those down if you can.
I've heard from people who say Aquaman's belt buckle falls off fairly easily. Even in the box. Seems like a pretty common problem. I'll probably try some double sided fabric tape.
Really nice figures, love the boxs, the unforms are nice but the bodies are crap, would have like to see the type 2 bobies insterd of these easy to break bodies
Great review. Are the chest decals for the flash and gl paper stickers like the original WGSH or did Mego go with what they’re using on their modern figures like the previews exclusive shazam and black Adam ?
I found batman couple days ago the very last migos figure walmart had lol now I need Robin and then green Lantern unless I find the others first lol its my goal to get the whole collection to display I'm also looking for the target exclusive anniversary gi joe 12 inch figures that came in the shoe box like packages can't find them anywhere and just getting interested in them lol
Thnx for the great review! Where can I buy them? And must the golden sticker on the plastic front? I see also boxes without the golden sticker. Regards, Ron
If you don't see the sticker on them they are a knockoff from figures toy company, you can get them at zlccollectibles.com, or any speciality retailer online Always inspect the figures online to make sure they are really mego
@@Ron1961 It has a sticker and a official mego logo on the box, also you can easily spot them because FTC versions look cheap. If they have a pale cheap looking body avoid it
Paul Clarke was saying that was due to a factory error, and will be corrected. He added that you can trim about 2mm off the bottom of the thigh at the back of the knee to fix it, but I'm waiting until I have an extra figure to experiment with.
@@allenbelk6222 heated up the thighs, wiggled and pulled. Came out no problem. Trimmed the back of the leg and it definitely made a big difference. Thanks.
