In his monologue for the latest episode of 'Mehdi Unfiltered', Mehdi called out the GOP’s failed attempt to stop ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan from issuing arrest warrants for the Israeli government over the war in Gaza, after 12 Republicans threatened him and his family in a letter sent in April. Mehdi pointed out that Khan’s historic request marks the, “first time an ICC prosecutor has ever gone after the leader of a western country or one of its close allies.”

The chief prosecutor of the ICC is British, so you understand the irony of the British government complaining about a British prosecutor in an independent international court. But the Conservative government in the UK wanted to get rid of the Human Rights Act so they don’t care for laws or regulations.

OTOH, it is true that some unspecified number of Israeli citizens did die from the IOF's response, i.e. "friendly fire". There's also an interview of one of the IOF helicopter pilots that certainly sounded like he was implementing the Hannibal Directive.
