These replicas can speak like the orginal GERMAN voice of K.I.T.T. That's what we grew up with ;) (Alternatively, it could also speak with Wiliam Daniel's voice, if we would want that)
- Does some of those replicas have an automatic drive system?- there were an article in a danish newspaper recently about a dane who has maked a Replica of Kitt too, and he wanted to add an automatic driving system but didnt get the permit from the danish authorties, thats why im posting my question here.
Is this car available as a kitt-car? ;) Would be awesome if the aftermarket parts were available for these kind of mods, instead of yet another fast and the furious wet dream of a teenager.

Bezieht sich das dann immer nur auf die Teile im Armaturenbrett, oder kann man da auch diese ausfahrbaren Spoiler bekommen die beim Super Pursuit Mode zum Vorschein kommen? Danke!
Siehste, bei mir isses genau andersrum. Mich interessiert ein Standard-Firebird überhaupt nicht und ich würde auch keinen haben wollen. Aber den Kindheitstraum "K.I.T.T." zu haben, ist schon sehr cool... ;)
@DRIFTking95M Richtig, aber technisch waren die Special Edition/Formula/Trans Am quasi identisch - im Unterschied dazu hatten die V6 wie erwähnt einiges anders.
@07iceman97 Der Mann spricht von der Generation Camaro/Firebird. Ein Trans Am ist auch ein Firebird und zwar immer. Aber ein Firebird ist nicht immer ein Trans Am.
Ich glaub das ja wohl nicht... Hammer jungs- absoluter wahnsinn... Ich werd mir auch ein zusammenbauen... Das amaturenbrett muss ich haben! Ich komm aus kiel- Kennzeichen: KI-TT 79 Yes :)

@07iceman97 Kein Zusammenhang? Firebird und Trans Am haben beide 1:1 die selbe Karosse :-D V6 waren immer das Grundmodel, also ein einfacher Firebird mit kleinem Motor. V8 waren grundsätzlich Trans Ams, wobei es hier bei diesen großen Maschinen wieder Variationen gab (Trans Am, Special Edition 82-86, Formular 87-92, GTA). V8 anders als V6: Neben Motor anderes Fahrwerk, anderer Motorraum (z.B. Batterie Beifahrer- statt Fahrerseite), bei Einspritzern andere Benzinpumpe usw. usf...
Eigentlich gar nicht mein Stil, aber bei einem schwarzen Pontiac Trans Am kann man einfach nicht nein sagen, ich find das mindestens so cool wie einen DeLorean zu besitzen. Wenn ich jedoch die Wahl hätte bleibt es bei einem VW T1.
... because they prefer things they like more over an 100% authentic look. You don't spend money at things you don't like, even if it's a little more authentic. If you want to have a street legal K.I.T.T. in our country, you can't have it 100% authentic anyways...
I don't know much German. Oh he said "T-shirt", "Total" and "Applause!" XD I know those words! Neat how similar English and German are. Anyway very nice KITT car! I would so want one of those but I would be afraid to take it out of my garage and I don't think there'd be room anyway.

Nice work on the cars. Here in Canada you can be thrown in jail if you put the red lights on the front, it is considered imitation of an emergency vehicle :( I had a sweet 1988 formula firebird too, had the car talking, but could not have the scanner bar. Also the steering wheel must be a complete circle can't have the one from the show ether.
I hate the fact that ppl like that guy on the stage just can't honour the effort made by the owner. It's one thing not to like the series, it's an other to disrespect ppl who do. >.< I couldn't watch it.

@07iceman97 Bitte kein Halbwissen. Such Dir einfach mal einen beliebigen Trans-Am-Fahrer und lass Dir dessen Autopapiere zeigen. Da steht "Firebird Trans Am". Wie schon gesagt, ist der Trans Am lediglich eine Ausstattungsvariante des Firebirds. Diese beinhaltet unter anderem einen V8-Motor und noch ein paar andere Sachen. Aber auch er ist und bleibt ein Firebird. Denn das ist der Modellname dieser Fahrzeuge. Und das bleibt er auch beim Trans Am. So wie der GTI ein Golf bleibt ;)
