I saw Adler twice - interviewed him before the first time I saw him play - and I have seen Cruz twice. I wish nothing but the best for Adler and nothing but the best for Cruz. I started playing drums in 1980, and I am not even close to being able to play drums like either of these dudes. I guess I just don't get the point of saying drummer A is better than his replacement. Music is about chemistry between the musicians, and it's not easy to find the perfect fit.

Art Cruz is a machine. I got to meet him a while ago, i asked for a photo while he was onstage not thinking that he’d actually come down and take a photo with me, but he did and I got to talk to him a bit. Hes genuinely a nice guy. LoG is lucky to have found him.

I got to meet him at Sweetwater drum day this year, he was such a down to earth and nice guy, he told me and my mom not to rush because there was a long line. He signed all my stuff and even wished my mom a happy mothers day.

At 2:52 that triplet kick pattern that mimicks the guitar is badass! I hadn't heard L.O.G. since Chris left but man I am hugely digging Art's drumming and his overall power! Glad I rediscovered them. I also love Hourglass. That song rips as well!

I still think it's hilarious that I didn't know Chris Adler was no long drumming for Lamb of God until I saw live footage of their new tracks (I had the album on repeat on a streaming service😅). Art perfectly captures everything that made Lamb of God so iconic. Now that I know it's not Chris I can definitely hear the nuances in Art's playing that separates it from Chris Adler but I don't think I've ever seen a band member being replaced sound this seamless. Absolutely amazing job.

I have had the opportunity to see both Chris and Art live numerous times during LOG shows, they are both incredible drummers but in my opinion as much as Chris was very technical, I find Art just brings more emotion while playing. Art couldn't have been a better replacement. 🤘🤘

I honstly prefer Arts drum sound off the last few LOG albums over Adlers last two albums. It just sounds more monstrous and in your face, his style also reignited LOGs sound making it sound fresh. This coming from a guy who was a huge Adler fan since As the Palace Burns.
