They are thick and longer than most but surprisingly not heavy. No heavier than a 5B but a killer shoulder for laying into the drums. I love them...they almost have a maple feel but they're hickory.

Wooow! That was incredible!! Where to start??? Very musical and tasteful, INSANE footwork (he has a double pedal but simple does not use it :D) and very easy going handling the missed rimshot at 2:38 ! And then: Just after the solo all he does is giving props to his drum tech. What a great man! Awesome video!

Udi Peled nah there’s a double pedal. You can see the connecting rod and the slave pedal when the camera is behind him. He doesn’t use it a lot tho and he didn’t use it at all during this solo.

Better to have drums in stereo from the perspective of the audience in this case. There is no shot of Chris perspective, but there is of the audience.
