I do. It's a fucking conspiracy against Kim Wilde! How could it be ANYTHING ELSE?! I mean the only way she gets on a shit commercial station like tragic magic is when she fucking DJs on-that is playing everyone ELSE'S pieces of shit! And what other station is she EVER on. Every other bint known to man is ALWAYS on, the more irrelevant, overrated, insipid and pointless, the more the better. Kim doesn't fit ANY of these categories, so naturally NEVER on!
Well, naturally, KIM WILDE's on it! She's the most underrated artist in history; her normal songs aren't even EVER on EVER! And I'm not counting that bloody 'Kids' song being on here and there on a few every 500 years!
There is so much to enjoy in this video. The more you watch it the more you find something new. Just loving Kim's facial expressions at 01:15 and 03:11. Mel's priceless face at 02:54. I worked with Mel when he came to our theatre. R.I.P. to a man who gave us great memories.
Can you tell me i am looking for the spécial christmas 1987 from uk i dont remeber there were rick astley song when i fall in love, mel and kim christmas song, annie lennox feat Aretha Franklin
Couldn't care less if it's february, july or december, Kim Wilde looking like that is essential viewing!! Lol!! Always had a thing for her!! RIP Mel Smith!!
Wouldn't be Christmas without Mel going totally overboard on this record, Sentimentality is a wonderful thing at Christmas, RIP Mel smith you will always be a part of Christmas for me.
Thanks Mel for one of my favourite tracks at Christmas, and the best comedy I grew up with (even if as a kid I probably didn't understand all of it, I still love it today). Take it easy up there. RIP
I can't remember posting this. Now, I know what you're going to say. You're going to remonstrate about excessive drinking. The thing is I don't give a flying fuck.
@@garethbeare7319 No-one was saying anything, though. So the only person you are trying to convince you do not give a fuck is yourself, which actually shows your own uncertainty on the subject.
Chris Evans Agreed! I absolutely love British humor, second to none, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones are among my favorites, I would fancy Kim Wilde for Christmas too! RIP Mel Smith!
Went to a Michael Jackson concert , not to see him but to see Kim Wilde, seen her again in Preston a couple of years ago, still rocking it !! And still stunning ❤️
This video brings back so many memories for me . I grew up in Sutton, Surrey and one dark cold night when I was a teenager, I looked out the window to see film crews arriving in my little Cul-de- sac. Then big American RV,s arrived and Kim Wilde & Mel & Grif - plus Curiosity Killed The Cat . They filmed it at No21 a house opposite mine about 8 doors up . It had belonged to an old person for decades, who'd not renovated it. They took all the glass out the front on the house to film through the windows. There were BIG spot lights . The filming went on until around 4am in the morning even though it had poured with rain. Happy Day's
Listing now. Put everything aside. Let’s slow down our life. First Christmas without my dad who passed away.. God bless you dad. Thanks for wonderful Christmas tones we had together.
Kim Wilde in a lovely red and white polka dot dress, a good old 1970's Christmas power ballad, this will go down in history as one of best Christmas time anthems
Yeah it's an only an update of an old traditional, but listen to how pure and clear glass and harmonic her voice. Angel singing. Even with this, she puts the effort in, just like all she does.
Seen Kim Wilde Live and she is quite simply gorgeous and extremely talented. Just a shame they can't play this properly anymore thanks to the RH song reference as it's a great record
I was watching the video for RATCT on TV channel That’s Christmas the other day and the Rolf Harris bit got cropped out. It was definitely a wiser move to make
It doesn't even feel like Christmas, it's like I feel no Christmas spirit. I guess as we get older we realize life is depressing, enjoy the ones you spend time with now because one day you won't have them to cherish Christmas together. Just remember that.
This is my fave version too. Why can't this also be in the top 5. The pogues/ Kristy maccoll. Chris rea. And band aid thee best Christmas singles. But I haven t heard this version played on radio 1 capitol FM. Manchester radios. Wtf. Kim's a legend!!!!!
+Alan Slevin Really? So what alternative universe do you live in then? His death was widely reported at the time it happened, but clearly you missed it.
Anyone else have memories of just sitting down amidst a bunch of your new presents with family members coming round for turkey while this choon blasts Best times of your life and you don't even realise it
One of the best Christmas Video's I like as we normal here Wham "Last Christmas" ;-) Rest in peace Mel - We miss You all ;) Mel Smith - 19 July 2013(2013-07-19) (aged 60) London, England, United Kingdom
