Today we are at Mel’s Diner in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Mel's Diner is a popular American Classic Diner located just minutes from Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Since 1993, this Family Owned and Operated Diner has offered its guests a classic 50’s diner experience with great American classic food and atmosphere.

The pancakes and fish looked so good. I agree that those big church dinners have some of the best fish. They have great tartar sauce, and good slaw too. I also love getting to eat outside like you did here. So nice.

Glad the food from Mel's Diner was fresh and hot. What a great deal on the breakfast combo meal and they gave you a huge amount of food. The catfish meal looked really good and it looked like it was not too greasy. We have a lot of diners to choose from where I like on Long Island, NY. Due to my late work schedule, I usually don't wake up until about noon. So I will go to diners for breakfast because they usually have breakfast "all day". Great video for Mel's Diner. The food was fresh and hot! It is a good deal for what all you get. I always hear stories about the diner scene up there. I have always really liked diners. The versatility, menu, personal service and the fact they give you good options for a decent meal for people that work different schedules and things like that. I love Mel’s! My husband and I make a point to eat there every time we come to PF. I went back in June on a girls trip, and felt bad for my plus sized friend. The seating inside was difficult for her to fit. She kept saying she was fine, but we could all tell she was squeezed into the booth. I didn’t see any seating that would’ve been more comfortable for her.

Ok guys I am ready...got a crispy chicken sandwich with mayo, ranch, tomato, lettuce and potato cakes from Arbys with an icey cold diet 7up. Your food looks yummy. Stacy you got a good value for your meal Good review guys.

I don't know of any places that specialize in vegan food, but I would say that most places would have some options. We try to film the menu when we do reviews. Maybe you will see something on there that suits your needs. We hope you enjoy your trip!!! Thanks for watching and commenting!

I am an old appalachian country boy, but I am not a fan of good quality shredded hash browns. I always say that a guilty pleasure of mine is the processed hash brown patties. Kinda like eating giant tater tots😆
