As a guy, I felt the empowerment of these lyrics. It’s like, you’re understanding what a female (or anyone who has to deals with something as harsh as periods) goes through when dealing with periods and all the reproductive hardships (yes, I mean pregnancy as well. Moon Cycle is about the menstrual cycle. How it is a normal process that roughly half the human population undergoes. Women shouldn't be ashamed of their period, instead they should be empowered that they can go through life with unbearable pain and cramps like it's nothing.
