She was giving Adam that look so he would speak up for her. When you’re in a competition it is best to hold your tongue as a professional and let the judges debacle things on their own. That comment of not looking at her, was a passive aggressive way to get Melanie’s attention and Melanie handled it gracefully.
Nah adam Levine is a dodgy character we don’t know what really went on and they edit these shows to create false drama so there’s a lot of context missing there could easily be a lot to this we’ll never know about that was cut

I don’t believe for a second that she was the one that was being bullied. Chris always seems like she was the mean girl & probably had to switch schools bc of her parents jobs & that’s the story she ran with bc her publicist probably told her to tell that to the public when her career started to kick off bc everyone loves a good sob story about an underdog that overcame. Bc everyone who has the same dream,can see themselves in that. But everyone that’s worked with her (who’s brave enough to come forward) says she’s a bitch who is the mean girl in the music industry. Bullying a teenager just shows that. That’s all she did during her time working on the voice. She probably felt threatened. And for good reason.

Just came from Melanie’s Trilogy Tour concert at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs. I’m 57, I’ve seen over 200 concerts in the past 4 Decades. Melanie’s show easily lands in the top 10. # 1 for total artist ingenuity, creativity, and performance…by a mile. Still blown away. Thought you should know Christina.
Nah I was bawling my eyes out and I couldn't stop crying or look at my teachers and she just kept talking to me passive aggressively telling me to look at her and to stop crying she yelled a bit too. To be fair I deserved it , I was skipping a class.

I was asked to give a ride home after a sports practice to a kid who had been giving my daughter a hard time at school. That kid ate McDonald’s with us that night, then picked a candy on our last stop before heading home. Later on, I learned her home life wasn’t great. I don’t know…. Kids are kids man. I honestly think her and my daughter both learned things that evening. She was a kid- a bully- but a kid.

Her looking away wasn't even disrespectful, it was something of a minor coping mechanism - eye contact is difficult, especially when the person speaking to you doesn't have anything nice to say.

Who even says that “oh, she’s not even looking at me?” Like she just sounded like a pure hater in her tone. She was looking at you the whole time just before that Christina. I can’t remember if there was any other beef between them this season when I watched it, but you can tell there’s an underlying tone of animosity or something coming from Christina’s end.

Well, there is a Mexican TV producer that in an interview said that she was the worst person to work with. He even said that he was about cancel the whole thing because she was mistreating the crew but apparently her agent scolded her so they could finish. This was so many years ago, when she was promotion her songs in Spanish, so he thought she knew Spanish, so when she complained about it he was like... So you are only making money from Latino community and yet you are so mean to everyone.

Eye contact can be hard for some people let alone in that situation. I’m lucky I haven’t been in that situation but I’ve always struggled with eye contact as it makes me feel restless and awkward. The older I’ve gotten the more I’ve been able to teach myself to maintain eye contact but still sometimes I have to look off to the side or the restlessness and anxiety gets too overwhelming and I won’t here anything the person talking to me is saying

Yes !! Also, it’s natural for teenagers to not always have great eye contact. Adults can maintain eye contact for a while on end, but most teenagers don’t have that skill yet even on TV.
