This song is an ode to the easier and slower-paced life of the past. Nowadays, life is moving pretty fast. We're running from one thing to the next, constantly moving, trying to please everything and everyone. So I wrote this song for when I feel overwhelmed and as a reminder that it is okay to take my time.
And isn't it funny how the streets of New York are so much in contrast with the meaning of this song? That's why I thought the clips I shot during my trip to New York were a perfect match for this music video.
