We decided to take the overnight bus from Melbourne to Adelaide instead of catching a flight. We haven't taken a bus in Australia yet but before catching it we had a couple more stops in Melbourne to hit up. Like the Queen Victoria Market to try some delicious doughnuts.

8:14 I'm still laughing at the crash avoidance faces 😂😂 Have a great time in Adelaide, definitely recommend getting the tram to Glenelg especially if they are still running the old one. Also if you can, a trip into the hills to Hahndorf is highly recommended too

Loving the drone sequences, so exciting! Those long distances between Australian cities, I guess 8 and a half hours is the shortest bus journey between two capitals. I bet you're not catching a bus from Adelaide to Sydney.... lol

The drone seems easy to fly but will take some time to get used to angling to get good shots I think! Still crazy to wrap our heads around the distance from a to b here 😅 we will not be 😂

This bus service is in motion between 3AM and 4AM. So there' a oppoturnity to do a "scary" 3AM experience in many ways for real. Scary 3AM things are really possible!

You are very brave taking an overnight coach. It's a long time since I did one. Definitely prefer to fly now but they (coaches) were a rite of passage once. (once). Adelaide is lovely so enjoy your stay.

Fresh doughnuts are the best! This is is an awesome looking market, and great that it's all solar! I think I'd rather do 9 hours on a bus than a plane. Looked like a nice trip! Who needs a book lol experience is the best teacher 😁😁 Looking forward to some epic drone footage 👍👍

Think we got lucky with the low head count on the bus! The drone seems easy to fly but will take a little time to get used to angling the camera to get the best shots! 😅

Hello - Large sections of the "Road" between Melbourne & Adelaide are bumpy & have pot holes due to lack of maintenance...I remember taking this bus in the mid-1990s to Adelaide but decided to catch a flight back to Melb.

m from melbourne ....south australia have one of best beaches in australia . glenelg is by far the best .. water is soo clean on the beaches .

the queen vic market used to be a cemetery, instead of digging up all the bodies, they filled it in with concrete and built the market 😬 Hope you have a great time in Adelaide! check out the beaches they're great!

Good on ya with the overnight bus...unless it has a bed that's a pass for us 🤣😂 We have tried...but NOPE! You're going to love the Mini 2! We finally got a drone and that's the one we went with...still not good with it but it is fun and the footage really adds a next level. All the best guys! 🤙🤙♥♥

We’re currently doing small suitcases (40L) and a little carry on backpack (20L) it’s so much easier than having a big backpack 😅

I don't think the driver would have been bouncing the coach somehow. The roads in Oz are shocking. Don't know when you did this trip but the end of 2022 the roads were hammered by floods. Coach travel in Austrslia was huge in the 1980's up until the 2000's. Unfortunately cheap airfares and crappy management destroyed it. Hopefully one day it will come back.

Yes, those overnight bus trips can be exhausting. Silly me once did a longer overnighter from Sydney to Melbourne along the coast which was a full busload stopping and starting to drop off and pick up along the way. Never again! The Adelaide- Melbourne (and return) run makes money during the Australian Football League (AFL) season when many fans from the Adelaide teams bus over for the games. I hope that you enjoyed my wonderful, buzzy city of Melbourne. Adelaide is much smaller and more quiet.

I am in my fifties . I remember the Doughnut bus down at Station Pier (where the overseas liners Dock) . It always had good doughnuts. I did a bus trip about half the distance, it was surprisingly comfortable. That was during the day though. I hope you get to Perth.

Glad you purchased the drone. You'll enjoy it so much. Those donuts are called bismarcks in my area of the U.S. Our "donuts" are round with a hole in the center.

Probably the roads and not the driver. Vast distances and a small population makes road building and maintenance a constant logistical and financial problem in Australia. In the 50s and 60s many of our main roads were still unsealed. Car magazines of the day would often look for signs of dust intrusion as part of reviewing new vehicles. It was important to know because so many of us still drove on unsealed roads. As many of us still do, in rural areas. And it's well known that men don't need to read instruction manuals. Makes sense! Yeah we were a bit concerned when we rented the motor home about unsealed roads as the t&cs indicated that we couldn't drive on them! Luckily we didn't come across any 😅
