I am Persian, a heavy metal guitarist, and really enjoy the way they utilize phyrigian scale and made me learn it as well. I like heavy/thrash metal and not really into screaming vocals but i think Melechesh style fits well with the vocals of Ashmedi. The first two albums of this band have terrible quality but the other albums are fire man. Freakin heavy stuff. Melechesh is an Amazing band, a completely different style to other death metal bands. You can find many unique phyrigian scale riffs and solos in their songs. Rock on brother. React to ladders to summeria and Enki- divine nature awoken . kickass stuff.
