Most of the actual players don’t cry on twitter all day, and even many of the ones who do put their whole being into the game and that’s why they get upset
I generally like most of this mod, and wouldn't complain if it became more common in the scene. I don't think its perfect, but I'd be down for a discussion.
Doing a tilt airdodge to airdodge straight left/right is pretty awkward. The threshold should be higher so you have to have the stick closer to the gate to get the modified angle. Or ideally it just only works on frame 1 of airborne.
I used to feel that way when I first started playing Rivals and it really turned me off to the game. But when I gave Rivals a second try for a few hours it ended up feeling completely natural.
Instead of saying this over and over again, it's time to run it everywhere we can and test it and get it in people's hands so we can actually have the community mess with it instead of staying all hypothetical and stuff. That mindset has been a waste of time and progression for everything for us.

@@plusah1268 - Haha, it's not that sort of mod. Similar to a balance patch for characters, it's a balance patch for controllers. It helps people's controllers do things in the game that should work, but don't because of GameCube controller and consistencies degradation.
definitely going to wait and see if it will come out on unranked, i feel like making tilts on c stick possible is super cool but some things should require practice and be difficult to master and i think pivot uptilts should be one of those things
Hax, do you think character and general bug fixes should be next? Will the community embrace falcon snapping to ledge as intended on side b? Or luigis last dash hit existing? Or phantom hits being removed? I think Gimr's Lab has a fixed version with most of these changes and more that you could collab with. I think it'd be incredible to fix as much of melee's jank as we can. As a spectator itd be incredible to see what players can do with... like game and watch having a real shield? That potentially brings him up to viability by itself.
Seems like the focus of this video was use of the .iso on Slippi. But does that also mean the .iso is compatible for use on a modded Wii via Nintendont and USBLoaderGX? If so, that is also an added bonus!

Playing on Slippi right now and it feels pretty good, but why have I fought against 5 different Dr. Mario and 2 different Sheik as Dr.Mario and have about 5 of the 7 suicide and taunt randomly while getting 4 stocked?
Tree, you are supposed to use this in direct connect... You aren't seeing the same game as everyone else! That's why Hax mentions making sure that the person you are playing has all the same toggles selected.
I can't seem to get this to work with Nintendont. It loads up fine but I can't get my controller or cursor to appear on screen. Is theres something I'm doing wrong?
SquatRV disabled along the rim is garbage bro. There are so many times where I wanna go from crouch to slowwalk along the rim, and using your mod I'm going from crouch to dash... I use it in scenarios where I want to be holding CC, then walk forward after I'm hit, and do a jab or something. If I am dashing, it fucks everything up.
