@@kenterminateddq5311 alot of the issues I've heard and seen were petty squabbles over more tv time and like most jobs the more you shine others want to dump on it. She was killing it as the valet for MnM. Maria has always kinda been a ... Why not me? Kind of person. Melina went and got it and took Mercury and Mundo to the next level. The heel heat she generated was amazing and she could interfer and make it look smooth. Maria was always given the crap script and jealousy ensued. Those days you had to earn your keep and now Melina can groom Thunder Rosa to be a top Heel or Babyface if she goes either way. Melina literally can help the girls in NWA better than most female talent out today.

Melina is a sweet and humble person. I met her at Wrestlecade last year in Winston-Salem. We spoke for 30 minutes. It was great to finally meet and converse with one of my favorite wrestlers ever. It's even better when you realize that she is even a better person.

I use to train with Melina in the EWF in Southern California (I have the receipts). She’s a tough cookie. During our training, id Irish Whip her corner to corner so hard and yank on her ponytail, kinda roughly, she’d always, after training, be so thankful & was always all smiles. I Love her. ❤️❤️

It’s like those annoying ladies who give no care and scream in the audience haha at No Mercy 2005 she was screaming through the tag match while she wasn’t even in the ring haha and then she would scream at the reff man she’s loud! She is right it’s incredibly annoying haha makes you hate her guts at that moment lmao Good news was that Christy Hemme and Animal did the doomsday device on Melina destroying her haha!!! That was epic!! Melina and Christy Hemme rock!!!

Melina is a multiple time women's champion, was great in the ring, and along with Beth Pheonix and Mickie James, helped revitalized women's wrestling in the WWE, after Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Jazz, Lita, and the other greats were gone. From 2006 to 2011, these three women in particular, were instrumental in elevating their profession. Melina is a hall of fame through and through.

First time I've ever heard Melina as herself and it's amazing to see how sweet and genuine she is. Not that I thought she was exactly her character, I just didn't know what to think either way. Can't believe she's 40, she looks amazing! Glad to see her crushing it in NWA, M&M was such a great group mostly because of her, in my opinion. She always had so much charisma, was a killer in the ring, and the character was a great heel.

Great work as usual Chris! Ugh...I LOVE Melina! She was one of my favorites growing up. Favorite things from this interview were: Melina talking about about how much the Original Women's Title meant to her. I had the same thoughts on how important the original Women's Title was because of the lineage when the title was retired and when the new Women's Titles debuted at WrestleMania 32 & Backlash in 2016. Melina shouting out Jacqueline & Jazz! Oh man, I've always wanted to see her work against those two. I'm still hopeful for Melina/Jazz since they're both still active (and Jazz never lost the NWA World Women's Title). Her little anecdotes about using the cross face forearms like Jazz and about Jackie & Jazz coming down to OVW and seeing that she was a natural heel were really cool.

Awesome interview. She seems real humble, and real grateful here. I'm amazed and impressed with Melina's long wrestling career. She used to be my favorite Diva back in '05, and '06. As a 14 and and 15 year old teen, I was captivated by her on the mic, and of course her beauty. Still the only Diva that I recall doing the splits as part of her ring entrance. She stood out in that regard. Melina's mic skills made up for her limited in-ring ability. Very good heel as I recall. She looks really good for a woman in her early 40's by the way. Above average, An Ageless wonder, she looks like she's in her early 30's in this interview. The fact that she can still do the splits at her age, that's fantastic.

Unfortunately there is a reason she doesn’t, even though she deserves it for the work she did. I don’t know for sure if things have changed, but her negative backstage presence back in WWE and slightly past WWE was well documented. I hope she’s grown up since then, especially after separating from Morrison, which was the last incident I really heard from her on.

Melina was the first diva that caught my attention for the Women's WWE matches. I grew up during the Melina, Beth, Mickie rival era and I truly do appreciate Melina's character. I've been a fan of Melina since 2007 and literally only went to live WWE events when I knew she had a match. There's something about her that is just so magnetic and unique that it's been so entertaining to follow her career every step of the way, and now I'm excited af to see the return of HEEL Melina, the original Melina persona that I really admired back in the day. I got to meet her back in 2017 and I was too starstruck to ask her all the questions I wanted to, unfortunately lol.
