@@zecho3535 Hey, I grew up in a jazz household (Bebop by way of Detroit), so, one never knows. How many times have you seen Mingus perform live? Monk, Barry Harris, Cecil Payne, Bobby Jones, Walter Davis Jr., John Hicks, Roy Brooks? All people I've seen countless times and many of whom I have known since from around 4 years old. I lived that shit. How many times have you seen George Coleman play live? Once, twice, 3 times? How many times have you seen George Coleman, Charles McPherson play together? How many times have you seen Lou Donaldson play? Do you even know who he is? I've seen all of those cats perform live countless times. You know why? Because my father played with Mingus live and on albums throughout the '60s and early '70s as well as with many of those same cats and more. Charles McPherson was also playing many of those times..so was Eric Dolphy before he died in Germany, so I kinda know what I'm listening to and when I make comments, it's based on my observation and lived experience. I already said she was on her way. I don't even play jazz, but I can play what she's playing. Wtf is your problem? You "Me Too" era people are such f**king pussies. Always butt hurt over some innocuous bullsh*t.

Not everyone, especially with respect to jazz, needs to play original music. Being a 'throw back clone' can be a good thing. The great quality of improvisation, especially without any backing, is reason alone to like this music. It has nothing to do with her gender.
