Melitta brew unit don’t fixating. Then you can’t put brew unit correctly to your machine.

Thanks. This resolving of problem fixating brew unit - is also for Solo / CI applicable. Second place of same problem - deformed by heat crank shaft ( brew unit handle connected to it) . In that case - coffee machine often doesn’t define inserted brew unit into machine.

What do you mean “indicator light come on” ? What indicator ? Why it shouldn’t?

@@OlegPC the froather light should not light up since my solo comes without a froather,rite. anyway.press to brew only resulted in sound..no grinding of beans or any flow of water /coffee/why? cleaned grinder..next i will check the tubing mechanism

@@terryterry1655 Shower indicator - signals of air in water circuit (machines understand no or weak signal from flowmeter so). You need to press “bean” button. After - some water sends throw drainage valve in tray. If error don’t go away and light shows again and again - problem in flowmeter - or some dirt it water or rust on contacts wire.

I understand - there was gears without metall ring in 2012-2014 model years machines. And they are turning not so easy as later one with metall ring on gear shaft. Surprise, but old one work as well as new one.

@@OlegPC I'm doing a test but the water escapes me through the drain, not sideways instead of into the cup, when I press the hot water itself, it flies into the cup.

@@janekkowalski7158 Just yesterday i got a problem machine - metall shower in top piston and hole with crema valve - was blocked by coffee parts ( coffee oil). So, mashine cant send water throw brew unit and sand it to tray. It looks like Drinage valve problem.

@@OlegPCBy the way, my coffee machine is a Melitta Barista T. Maybe you know how the motor should be set up in the Barista T model?

@@janekkowalski7158 Actually- the same as in this Varianza. So as on any Melitta or Nivona - on Main shaft ( on main gear ) - there is bevel. The line on this bevel must be parallel with down side of brewing motor case. Around 30-40 degrees, if my eyes don’t cheats me )))
