One reason i thought that melky wasn't on PED's was because he was never hitting the long ball. He was only hitting simple like bloopers over the second and shortstops head. So when he got charged I was really confused.
You need to watch Mike Trout play, that kid is what baseball is all about, no joke. I respect your opinion, but if everyone respected the game the way Trout does, baseball would be so much different

WHat type of steriods did he use? i mean he did not hit monster Homeruns or alot of them, he just made alot of contact, and his defense and arm have always been strong, so what he used was not to increase his power, maybe just his endurance idk...

For those of you who say that steroids don't really help-here's my question: If steroids don't really help then WHY are so many athletes willing to risk suspension, fines, reputation/embarrassment-letting your team down as well as family, etc...WHY? Because they obviously help. If you're in the majors you should have talent. This case of Melky is EXACTLY why they are willing to take the risk. Admit it. Steroids help. It's cheating, no question, but he's the poster-child as to how it helps.

been watching the giants my whole life, I have never seen anyone patrol the outfield like that ever. he had a willy mays like half especially in may. this still pisses me off, I hope he gets a ring, he deserves it.
melky i forgive u for what u did and im the same person that was pissed at u last aug 15th cuz i was at that game when it happend and i wondered y u werent playing but this year i wish u were here i really wish the giants would give u a second chance and let u redeem urself for who u really are, ur better than andres torres hes been garbage this whole year hes the reason y we lost so many tough games hes not clutch or defensive minded, melky please come back to us
How can you possibly say they all get caught?? If anything the fact that people are still getting caught leads me to believe that many players are still getting away with it, since there are still players willing to take the risk. Doubt they would take that type of risk if they thought they had a huge chance of getting caught.
What I think is funny (sad) is all the Giants fans who still worship and shower Bonds with adulation every time he makes an appearance at the ballpark but who jumped on the anger and betrayal bandwagon for Melky.
You all say Melky is a cheater, but forget all the other good players that take/took steroids. Bonds(obviously), Mark McGwire, A-Rod, Bartolo Colon, Ryan Braun, and probably other people that haven't been caught yet. Steroids doesn't help you make contact with the ball it helps you get power.
Plus basketball players wears those ridiculous longg shorts that goes to their ankles. with their little ass tank tops. Baseball players wear uniform every single game they play. Baseball is like a gentlemans sport.

It's a shame that Melky took steroids, I legitimately thought he turned his career around. Maybe he wasn't the most impressive player, but I thought he just started hitting better. I mean, his power wasn't any much better, home run totals weren't large. He was still pretty fair on defense, wasn't the fastest guy on his team either. I thought he just changed something in his mechanics that got him more base hits. It's a shame, I was starting to like him as a player.
Cabrera's punishment should be more severe than 50 games, that is a slap on the wrist. Getting caught using steroids is one thing but the website thing really shows how ignorant he is and it shows that he thinks that the people who run the league are more stupid than he is. He was BETTING that he could get away with his crime by faking a website. Come on Melky, are you seriously that ignorant?? Obviously you are, and you prooved it to baseball and all of your fans. But everyone makes mistakes.

I love KG but to say he he is the bets professional is a stretch. This is the dude who is notorious for disrespecting rookies and treats foreign players like trash. He was easily juicing at the beginning of the season. Look at the progression of his throws. They start the season as guns and end the season the same way. There is no improvement that the PED would have caused had he taken it later on in the season.
