I think as a compliment and loving feelings to Numibia, for having had such a horrible childhood and teenage years and was able to come out of that with such a positive mindset and as such a warm person. I have discovered this girl (and her band) via this program and she is incredible. I think very underrated in The Netherlands. Her grandfather (in that time) looking like the wolfman was a famous singer in a couple of Dutch countries and Indonesia. This song is also touching because she is so (psychiatric) vulnerable as she said in an interview. I hope more people will discover her Mell and the vintage furniture is her band
Her charactistic and soulfull voice reminds me listening to her grandfather, vocalist Piet Veerman of the band The Cats. Lea, Marian, and Scarlet Ribbons are legendary songs. Especially the stories behind these songs are worth it listening to I would recommend.
