Hey Mike, in regards to dealing with summer heat get yourself a PAIR of Harbor Breeze 20 inch outdoor fans to hang on the hooks on either side of the inside of the gazebo. I have a 12x18 almost identical gazebo as yours and the fans make a BIG difference in hot weather...also helps keep bugs awa.

How about rust? People have been reporting rust at other sites.

I’m glad I saw your initial review video. I was able to borrow a friends 10’ ladder since I only have a 6’. The assembly instructions were comical showing a guy on a pantry step ladder holding the top 10’ in the air. Dude must have been 7’ tall.

Thanks for the videos. I have a couple of questions. Can you buy replacement curtains and/or mosquito netting when they get nasty? Can they be washed? I assume the netting will deteriorate and rip after a year or so and the curtains will fade from the elements. How hard is it to take the curtains down and put them away when you don't plan on using them? I like your idea of spraying some sort of scotch guard on them. That should make them almost water proof, at least for awhile anyway. Not sure about UV protection though. Have you found a product that will protect them form UV and make them last longer? Thanks again.

Thanks so much for this excellent video. I'm seriously considering this gazebo for our back patio. One piece of info that I cannot seem to find anywhere is what the height is from the ground to the bottom of the frame pieces between the supports? Can you measure it and let me know what that measurement is?

Great video! We’re shopping for our gazebo now and this really helped. What did you use as a base? I tried zooming in but couldn’t tell if you did a concrete slab or pavers or both.

I purchased this last month, I have put the entire thing together BY MYSELF. I have the top on as well as the screen and first row of roof,However, the directions don’t make sense and it was challenging. Now I’m at the point to put the rest of the rooftop together,I have been 8 days of aggravating trying to figure out how Z and Z1 on this roof. I have looked for videos on utube ( how I came across this video) with no luck. I’m sure it’s because everyone has the same issue. If you can explain or share a video on how these parts are installed it would be very much appreciated

Anywhere I can find installation instructions online? My gazebo is arriving in a few weeks after the slab cures and I was wondering if I needed to prepare the cement in some way....

What if you were to spray paint the roof with a reflective coating, or at least white paint? Do you think it would help with the heat?

When it rains, is it very loud?

The roof is galvanized steel, not aluminum. The frame is aluminum.
