In this video the reactors watch and give their opinions on the 12 songs competing in this years Melodifestivalen final. The winner of the Melodifestivalen will represent Sweden at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel.

They might seem like it, but Arvingarna is not a joke act. They've been doing this for over 30 years (representing Sweden at ESC in 1993) and their kind of music is massively popular all over Scandinavia... and no I'm not a fan

@@BeeRodz Yep, I sang Eloise at a karaoke bar just the other week. :) Edit: I mean, you have to understand the cultural context. It's a semi-ironic type of affection. Perhaps not on the countryside though.

Right little surpised that the norwegian girl didn't tell that he is sami, like sami people are in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia. They have there own history, and even they are nativ people of thoes 4 country.

Hahaha, Noosh is really allergic to ballads, isn't she? I really can't understand that attitude... why would you hate a song just because it's ballad??? Accept it or not, very often ballads are much better than some cheesy upbeat modern songs (you call chart-friendly)...

I think that both 2018 and 2019 melodifestivalen was pretty bad. This year I only liked John Lundvik and Wiktoria. I liked more songs 2018. John Lundvik, Reinada, Margaret, Mariette, and Felix Sandman

@@ellenlindberg5685 When i say 2018 was a bad year, it's because i see the show as a whole with ALL 28 songs and not just the finalists, and to this day i still remember watching mello last year thinking week after week "where are the good songs this year", and SVT could have easily made a one-night show with maybe 8-10 songs because the overall quality of the songs was extremely low. Of the once you mention i only like Mariette's song This year the stadard was just soo much better in my opinion.

🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪 I said I was going to avoid Melfest. I lied. 😛 Jon-Henrik: if it wasn’t for Norway’s joik, I would give him a chance. But his 2015 and 2017 song were way better. Lisa: song shouldn’t end up on the AC round. Hate it’s on a death spot but I want her to do well in the Final. Mohombi: it’s okay Lina: every year, there’s always a Schlager-Queen at Melfest. Lina fills the role. It’s catchy but that’s it. Miss her stuff with Alcazar. Bishara: just no. Anna: the only reason why I would be okay with her winning is to get revenge for missing the Final in 2010. Nice hook. Nano: his song in 2017 was better but this staging was better. Sadly, I don’t see it making it to TA. Hanna & Liamoo: kinda overrated by fans. I don’t see anything special about the song. Malou: she’s so cute. Give it a couple of more years and maybe she’ll win a MelFest. John: I know a lot of people say this is Cesar 2.0. But it’s a feel good song. Love the less-is-more approach. Btw he co-wrote “Bigger Than Us”. Wiktoria: 2016? Love. 2017? Great. 2019? Great but not great enough for Eurovision. Arvingarna: It won’t win but damn, that friggin’ hook!

Heh. It's funny listening to what you think about Malou Prytz. Although when I knew who would compete in the final, I predicted that it would definitely end up in last place, which it did. Definitely the weakest song. Hearing you calling Arvingarna a joke song, more or less is kind of sad, considering how long a career they've had in Sweden (30 years, I think). Also, that genre is _really_ popular in Sweden. Especially among older people, also somewhat among kids.I loved Daeva's reaction to the song; it really is _so_ Swedish! :P It was a tough year to predict the winner though. At the end I knew John Lundvik would end up in top 3, I just wasn't sure which place the people would place him in. The song ending up at #2, though...ugh. Generic ballad, and a 16-year-old singing a love song - that was just cringy.

sweden has a system when jury from other countries vote so thats why we always get high point from them but it feels like everyone starts hating sweden cuz we always get high points from them so we get less from the people

Since these Hub folks love Sweden so much they really need to look into Swedish Danceband. Those aren’t gag entries at all. This is from where Abba came from among scores of lesser lights. This is Swedish country & western in essence. Charlotte Nilsson’s 1999 winner was all Danceband.

Jon Henrik Is one of the Sammy people indigenous people reindeer herders. The Swedish people and the overall Scandinavian people have been treating them very badly during the last 300 years or so so I don’t think you would call him like a Viking king or something “this is very Viking” no it’s not. Now although they are very respected and most people think their culture is very interesting

I was there live in Friends Arena for the finals and .. when John Lundvik feat The Mamas hit the stage the whole arena exploded and did sing along ... we knew he was gonna win and poor Wiktoria , because when John was walking to the green room , people was more focused on him than her .. so it was a WOW moment ..

Here's My top 5 of the final: 5. Victorius - Lina Ahh the classic schlager song and i like it. It's something you have heard multiple times but it's honestly still great. 7.5/10 4. To Late for Love - John It's really good, comes from his heart and he perform the hell out of it. Love the gosbel vibe and im not gonna be suprised if he wins since he clearly deserves it. John Lundvik is a great human being. 8/10 3. I Do - Arvingarna Fun, happy and catchy. Love Arvingarna and Dansband in general 🕺 8.5/10 2. Ashes To Ashes - Anna Super catchy and really good. Her song back in 2010 was sweet but this is better. If she wins she could get a revansch and qualify to the finals. 9/10 1. Norrsken - Jon Henrik Fjellgren This is he weakest song of the 3 but that's not saying much since all 3 are amazing. Really good refrain and music. As usuall his Jojk is really good but it's nice to se and hear him sing in Swedish a bit which is very cool. This is amazing and this is the year he wins. 9.5/10

Bishara is 16 and Malou is 15 (youngest singer in Swedish history in melodifestivalen) and Jon Henrik is sami And Liamoo And Hanna Ferm's "Hold You" (The song they singed) kinda everybody likes that song in sweden (dont know why) Och Lika om ni är Svenska :) John Lundvik is song writer in Britain and singer in Sweden. And Arvingarna has been a band for 30 years now. And Been in Eurovision with "Eloise" And Mohombi is a famous singer coming back to his home country. And Anna Bergdahl was in eurovision 2010. There is some Swedish Eurovision facts (my hands hurt after this) :)

I think Jhon Lundvick or Wiktoria are gonna win. Jon Hendrik is a favorite but not strong enough to beat the other two. I would like a winner that represents the old school swedish entries, Lina and Avingarna bring the schlager to life and nothing more swedish than schlager. Nano is one of my favorites too but I don't think he can win. It would be surprising if he does. I wouldn't like a mainstream winner with a poppy song... We have had lot of those last years.

Okey HOLD UP! If this is what Sweden has to “bring to the table” this year then I’m sad to be a Swede! The one song that you guys thought was good is a direct copy of Austria 2018!!! Now I am a proud Swede and mellfest and esc is something that I take very seriously. But if Sweden comes in the top 5 this year it’s because of the lac of god songs from the rest of the European nations. This is sad!!! Esc 2020! In any other country then Sweden! ✌️🇸🇪
