That could make an interesting studio Instrument....the sounds is nice but just different enough as to contribute to recordings of most any kind.

I have one of these pianos too. Mine has Red/brown finish. I thought it was pronounced “melody grand”. I don’t think those casters are original. Mine has tiny metal wheels. I got mine free on Craigslist. When I got there, the person giving it away said he had many callers, but I was the first, so was able to snatch this up. It only had a couple issues, was out of tune(not hard to tune/less strings per note/2 instead of 3 on most notes). Other was sustain pedal. Did not work, but all parts was there. Was missing metal pin on one side of pole to keep it in place(easy fix). Awesome piano. I have no plans to sell.

this is a great sounding piano. also with the wheels it is easy to move around. and perfect size when you have limited room for a piano. as some of my friends have.

Had to go back and listen to this again. First time I viewed it was on my tablet, and it didn't sound good to me at all. Now hearing it on my laptop, through a decent set of bluetooth speakers, I hear what you hear. Surprisingly full sound. Still, I'll take the Steinway harpsichord piano in your latest video any day of the week 😃. I can't stop thinking about it. That hit me like a ton of bricks.

My grandmother had one, but it was a darker color. My uncle and his family now have it.

I used one in my rock band in the early 70’s (with a pickup in it ). It was the ‘only’ way to get a real piano sound back then . I had to tune it up a bit before gigs but with only single and double strings it wasn’t too bad . Moved it with a Hammond b-3 dolly . Best $400 I ever spent on a keyboard!

Nice sounding piano. Obviously from the 1950s with the blond oak finish. Lots of similar instruments show up in Florida that were used in trailers and small apartments. Aeolian built players that were the shorter scale. Bach sounds good on this piano!

I have encountered Pianos like this one in the Field (Customer's Homes), I found a Player version of this model Curbside. The Legs have Toes which helps with the stability.

I love that small footprint. It's sad that there are so rare. In Poland it's impossible to find one. Sounds great! I wonder how heavy it is compared to the normal piano.

That mini upright has a very nice sound to it. When my sister was learning piano, we had a Schoninger spinet that was absolute garbage. It had plastic elbows that link the keys rest of the action that were constantly breaking.

there is one for sale in my area for $50....just wondering whether it's worth that? I am sure delivery of it will make up the difference. How heavy is this instrument? Sound very nice. I need to find out how large it is, and if it will fit into my tiny home. Very sweet! Been wanting a piano for a while now. Used to a regular spinet though.

5 octaves of piano keys comes to 61 notes. Add the 3 at the bottom: B, B flat and A, and you get 64 notes, not 66.
