Tbf melodious had a lot going for it but needed a decent normal summon like refrain and a payoff like etoile. Solo is crazy, ostinato is mega crazy, Arya is really strong when everyone is playing 6-9 targeting hand traps. There are a lot of decks that don't have enough even if they got everything melodious got

yay we seeing birch! Also great seeing good melodious gameplay - feels like we're still in the early days of the deck and there's a lot of guu to be found. for example, The reborn eff when sent to gy on etoile is not once per turn... surely that's broken somewhere

Bacha 's effect is hard once per turn, but what you can exploit is Shopina's to add back Herald.

At 5:00 you can't use ATK/DEF modifying effects in the damage step after damage calculation (unless they meet another criterion for being able to be activated in the damage step) Otherwise everyone would have Chaliced/Dropleted Raye at the end of the damage step, right after she was special summoned, but before she can tag out. This also comes up if you're trying to Chalice/Droplet a Poplar that's been added and special summoned by Hiita crashing

The fusion’s effect makes all melodious fusions can’t be negated by card eff’s. It’s why he didn’t imperm

It is a continuous effect and Bacha’s protection only applies to activated effects. You can imperm/veiler Bacha and negate the continuous effect that prevents activated effects from being negated.

G2, snake eye player couldve summoned poplar from hand after it got bounced. To give him an extra body to start the turn with. Also why not imperm bacha?

Ok no illegal activations by the melodious player this time. Desires is a little risky if you lose Aria in that game 2 it would’ve been very different. A lot of people usually on prospy but Elijah green made some good points on why desires in his video.

11:55 If Aria is banished by Etoile effect, is it still treated as a special summoned monster? Because if not the protection effect wouldnt be applied and you can target Melodious/destroy them in battle.

No it shouldn’t be, the fusion says “return” them to the field. They should forget how they were summoned, I believe there’s already a precedent for this. Correct me if I’m wrong
