I love Melt's colorstories in the palette, but on my face, they are just kind of difficult to get to look decent. That's just me. I don't have great skills. One of the things about the colorstory here that is similar to Gemini is that they have two colors next to each other in the palette that are really similar, but one is cool and the other warm. The biggest problem I had with Gemini was figuring out that I shouldn't really put those two colors right next to each other. I still think that at a distance and even on camera, the subtle differences in those shades is hard to see. I think I duped this colorstory in about two minutes out of my collection just to see if it was something I wanted to invest in. This video is really helpful with that whole process.

I'm in love with this palette so much. I also really love your eye swatch videos because it helps me think, "oh I could just use that one color and run out the door if I need to" with certain shades. It's also my first Melt palette, I almost got Smoke Sessions so many times but held off. But this one I just had to have ittttt, so pretty! 🌹

I bought this one on the early launch along with the vida palette. I've worn a different look every day since I got them -- I've used one of the palettes or used them together every day since they arrived. This is so unlike my usual makeup collection management-- I usually use a different palette every day and have trouble re-visiting the same palette often enough to feel like I get my money's worth. Melt had an incredible Black Friday through Cyber Monday sale last yr, so I was able to get a lot of things very cheap. I wish I'd checked my email, bc I heard they even put palettes on sale during the midnight sale. Last yr, I got several stacks & the pencil holder at a deep discount, a crap load of pencils and bullet lipsticks for $5 ea, a lipgloss and a liquid lipstick for $10. So if anyone is wanting something, now is def the time of yr.
