He was he able to get the marble perfectly centered in the tube and then bridge those 3 rods without it moving 😢…I wish they showed that part lol.

I didn’t even see the part where he got the Marb centered in the middle of the tube. Literally the first step which I still have no idea how to do without a lathe

I just don't get why you would sleeve a marble and not just add glass with a rod. I get it being more symmetrical it just seems a little too time consuming for what he used it for. I could see the application being cool with stick and snap or a layered inside out. So in that sense it's super insightful for that type of tech But just to add glass with all the tear off involved it seems a little too much.

I believe this allows him to get that clear on in one nice layer vs striping and having to wipe down each rod and all that to ensure clarity. He also uses the same methodology with the lined layers so it may just be how he is most comfortable.

When you push a clear lens on from a solid rod it can smear the pattern or not quite get to the edges of the design. This is a very controlable way to evenly lens a marble. Try making a honeycomb pattern on a reduction color and lens it this way. but don't tell nobody

Yea I figure a cool application would be layering techniques like fade to clear line work over sleeved honeycomb would be dope and layering for depth too
