I requested my absentee ballot. My health has been bad and I've been hospitalized several times the past year and a half. Too much at stake for me to risk not getting my vote in so I am voting straight blue by mail.
Losing mail in voting isn't a Conservative thing. In Australia, generally accepted wisdom is the Conservative party gets a much higher percentage of mail in votes, so if those numbers aren't in by the time the on the day votes are counted, the pundits always allow a few points to the Conservative party.
