nice looking ingots , I started out with steel crucible now I use clay graphite crucibles , I did a copper pour last week , I love these size ingots you made luv it sub too!

Good bars but preheat your molds, dust with graphite powder and cook the liquid copper at boiling for a few minutes then flux and skim. You are definitely good on this. Sweat the details and you will have a perfect bar!

Some things to consider. 1, a good flux and flux thinner make the bars solidify without waves, and make the molten copper less viscous. 2, copper tubing is 99.99% pure, so it has intrinsically more value to buyers and collectors. 3, tongs are a great investment.

what are the dimensions of your copper bars/ how heavy? They are awesome I would like to make a mold with the same dimensions.

Also I always wondered what would happen if you oil quenched these big bars
