I love the idea of Safiya bringing in the experts for this project and hearing "Katelyn! Duct tape a bucket to the stick!" Also the fact that they ordered new kit since clearly they don't want to lug a bunch of equipment through the airport, but that also means they're leaving Safiya with a bunch of massive candle making equipment and resin lol.

For joining acrylic you should use acrylic solvent cement, it permanently welds it together and is fast and easy.
