Great video. The closed-captioning made no sense though; the software didn't come even close to translating correctly! You should go back and edit to tell exactly what you are saying.

Why does more substance take longer to melt than less substance?

For the same reason a bigger ice cube takes longer to melt completely compared to a small one! There is more material that is required to be heat up, which takes more time
