On March 10, 2024, Joe Davoli and Bob Halligan performed at the Liverpool Public Library for the Melting Pot Music Series. Joe Davoli is an award-winning performer of several styles of music including Celtic, rock, jazz, bluegrass, blues, and classical. He has composed and recorded music for an off-Broadway revival, served as musical supervisor for a short film, and has published a successful method book for fiddle and mandolin. His solo CD “Game Plan” has received international acclaim. He is currently a full time member of Ceili Rain, a studio musician, and teacher. Composer-pianist Bob Halligan is an accomplished songwriter having penned tunes recorded by artists as disparate as Michael Bolton and Blue Oyster Cult. Bob also leads Ceili Rain, a band he founded that fuses Celtic music with Christian rock.
This project is a collaboration with Liverpool Is The Place Concert Committee and is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
