Haha... your vid title is a bit of click bait... but fun. 🤣😂 Thruxton is a rapid circuit, you should have fun there. My old 9000 is stripped down to 1ton- not much of it left. You will be doing well to get a 9-5 to similar weight levels. Enjoyable as always. Glad its working for you. My 9-5 suffered broken rear control arm last weekend. Managed to drag me home before it collapsed fully. Such nice old cars 😎👍🏻

Is it a experiment a joke or what? No its actually a serious home made track contender. What is left? Im sure its work in progress. Its a never ending cycle! It did really well on track to be fair, no one got past me at my last track day and it was a low speed track so not really the FrankenSaabs playground. I'm working on it this weekend, finished off the undertray and diffuser and making up some more crazy aero. The plan is also to get it under a ton at some point, this means lots of carbon fiber panels, including the roof. When I decided to build the saab it really was to just have a laugh, not take it to serious and not spend to much money, I've done exactly that and had a great time. It just happens that she's also very competitive. Next track day is Thruxton it August, fastest track in the UK and should be alot more fitting for the saab.

Its the story behind the car that’s appealing and fascinating i find. Like any great artists and mad scientist its a passion brordering obsession.. an obsession towards excellence and perfection. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 bravo bro bravo 👏🏼👏🏼following its development its evolution in to the beast i think it is for me is truly fascinating. You further plans always exceed expectations.. and its cuz of that extra effort and thought you put in to it.. its developing in to a master piece of a machine! Starting from the beginning you must have had some faint idea it was going to be this way why else would you have chose such a machine as an 9-5 aero to begin with! A sublime choice no doubt with unlimited potential.. for unlimited future plans. I think youll have your way and get it below a ton.
