For reals, I’m glad the blue pallet series won’t necessarily “end,” because scrapping has become so fascinating to watch. I’m also hella excited to see some sand casting from you. From an “I also make videos” kind of viewpoint, I think having a certain type of video as part of your repertoire is a nice weekly goal to keep your motivation up AND to change things up. You might develop a community base where they only come to watch your sand cast videos, then get interested in your scrapping and it just builds and builds. Bro, I’ll message you on discord, I had a thought this morning while feeding my dogs about the way the copper pours in relation to the holes. I have to do some video reviewing on some other channels to watch the pours and see if my theory has any weight to it, but I think we’re closer to figuring this out to give you a nice perfect bar where metal meets the ingot mold.

Thanks bro I really appreciate it. I like scrapping but dislike editing the scrapping content. It takes forever to get it the way I like it, especially if there is a ton of screws to remove 🤣. I definitely need a change as I really think the viewers are getting bored, that’s why I decided to mix it up a bit. One day I’ll get a nice copper bar. I might try again iff camera tonight. Thanks for the inout and your continued support, really appreciate it brother. Thanks for watching 😎👊🏼🔥

Yeah, more sand casting! I'm excited! I thought the second pour turned out pretty good for copper. I'm excited for the new changes coming to the channel!

Thanks bro! The second wasn’t nearly as bad as the first fiasco! Can’t believe I f’d up that mold. At least now I wont make the same mistake 4 more times to the other molds 🤣 I’m definitely looking forward to sand casting again. Long overdue. Thanks for watching! 😎👊🏼🔥

Thanks bro! Oh I’ll definitely be a lot more busier than I have been! I couldn’t believe how much it warped the lip of that mold!! I only had it in the furnace for 2 minutes 🤣

Loved the video brother. Great melt. The pour was good and imperfections give the bars character. I’d put it on my stack. Great job brother 👍 You are doing an awesome job and this is your channel to do what you want. If someone does not like it, tough. Bring it on.

Thanks a bunch brother I really appreciate it. I just wish I could get one “perfect bar”. I’m starting to wonder if it’s my quality of copper since most of it is stranded #2 versus #1. Could just be a combination of cooking too much, poor quality molds, etc. Time to go make another video. Another sleepless night lol. Thanks for watching bro! 😎👊🏼🔥

@@Scrap2Cast I don’t know why all the holes. Maybe to hot or something. Pouring to fast. I don’t know.
@Scrap2Cast
@Scrap2Cast Год назад
@JsStack your guess is as good as mine brother. I know there is a lot of borax soaked into the crucible, wondering maybe if the borax is boiling and causing the air pockets. I always hear bubbling right when I’m ready to pour. Maybe I should let it cool down until the bubbles stop. 🤔

Hey S2C! Where should i begin? Good news first: I apppreciate your changes and non-changes to the channel and look forward to it, especially on the part with the indefinetly BPS 👍👍👍. did a rofl when i read that cardboard piece 🤣dont exactly now why but in this moment it was funny to me. the slot machine screwed u up as most of the time and the first pour gone wrong the second not bad, what else could go wrong?🤒 Oh sure! a molten steel mold... my eyes got really big when i saw that i thought they would jump out off my head 👀. anyway as always a cool vid, many things happened, i had my fun and wish you a good time mate, and see you on the next one! 🖖
@Scrap2Cast
@Scrap2Cast Год назад
Thanks so much mate! Yeah this video had quite the failures! Horrible first pour, warped mold which was my own stupidity. Totally overcooked it for too long 🤣. The slot has really been stingy the last few videos. It better loosen up pretty soon or I’ll have to get rough with it! I definitely knew you would be happy about the permanent BP / SFC series. I like the series a lot and in my opinion, “every channel has or needs a niche”. I appreciate your kind words and feedback always my friend! Have a great week! 😎🍻👊🏼🔥

Interesting why it keep getting holes in the modes , may have to ask some one with a little more experience what is the little secret , your doing a excellent job on it so far could be something as simple to do but over all can wait for more episodes
@Scrap2Cast

Thanks brother! I honestly think its a combination of how hot and how pure the copper is as well as my pouring speed. Hoping that’s all it is. Thanks a bunch bro and thanks for watching! 😎👊🏼🔥

Nice attempt, I actually liked how the cast iron pour looked. Though I thought that, the second pour wasn't bad either. IN any case, it was still better than any slot pulls today. I'm liking the direction you're heading in there. But I'm not so much a fan of limiting what melting you're willing to show. Aluminum has it's appeal, brass has it's burn limit, copper has it's color, no D's except for those Damn Trolls, etc... ...and 3M, I'll try beating you next time to be 1st.
@Scrap2Cast
@Scrap2Cast Год назад
Thanks brother! Oh don’t get me wrong I’m still going to do content of brass and aluminum as well as zinc and alloys for the midweek sand casting content. Scrapping for copper / tear-downs will be dedicated to Sundays. Some of the viewers favor the tear-downs versus the melts and vice versa so I’m hoping to be able to accommodate everyone 😁. The first pour wasn’t bad but there were too many holes in the bar for my liking, 2nd pour was a bit better aesthetically but I would’ve rather had the first bar on the table. So far one thumbs down but I’m expecting the other trolls to play catchup tonight 🤣. F’n slot machine took the last $3 from my wallet. Thankfully payday is right around the corner! Thanks for watching brother 😎👊🏼🔥🍻

Again a nice video. Thanks for the upload. Sorry 'bout the castiron mold. I thought "uh that's a bit too hot, buddy". Anyway, do you think the ingot is darker on the top because of the tin? I think it will be lighter with tin. Greetings from Bavaria
@Scrap2Cast
@Scrap2Cast Год назад
Thanks brother and I definitely overcooked that mold 🤣. I’m actually not too sure why it looks darker because it should be a little lighter. Another subscriber mentioned that the bar is technically red bronze because of the tin. I’m thinking about bringing the bar to the scrap yard to see if they can zap it with their XRF analyzer gun to tell me how much tin is inside the bar. Thanks for watching and cheers from the USA! 😎🍻👊🏼🔥

Hung around AND watched the commercials 👍😎👍…… you program that printer or just print from a pre made file? (Loaded question) looking for a coin themed to my company that I don’t have to break the bank to accomplish, I want to do some coins as a reward that can be gathered thru the year and traded in at the Christmas party for prizes based on how many coins earned. Going to try and carve one by hand out of wax buts it’s been a fail so far 😖 👊🏻☮
@Scrap2Cast
@Scrap2Cast Год назад
Thanks a bunch brother!! I print from pre made files. You can design your own coin using Fusion 360 but I literally have no experience with that software. You could have a custom graphite mold made of your design but it does get a bit costly. I used to carve my own coin molds out of a piece of scrap graphite and used a cheap engraving tool to do the carving. It looks amateurish but it worked well enough to make lots of skull coins which I gave away / sold before I started the channel. I know a guy that has a cnc in his garage out on the west coast. The same guy that made my channel logo stamps. He could make you a mold out of steel and he is reasonable. He can even help you with a design. Hope this info helps brother! 😎👊🏼🔥☮️
