A standard fighter with a massive shield she uses to block attacks and pressure her opponents.
- Saber: Battle Style
She has many combo attacks, and her battle style relies on closing in from mid-range and performing rush attacks.
A new entry in the MELTY BLOOD series of 2D fighting games based on TYPE-MOON's visual novel "Tsukihime."

no mashu/shielder wasnt planned to be in original FSN She was suppossed to be a new route for the Deen Anime based on FSN. What was originally scrapped from FSN was the illya route that got merged into Heaven's feels(Sakura route.)

@@MokonaModokiES No, Mash, rather "Stray Servant", was considered for the VN but was cut fairly early in development with only a character sketch and a rough outline of the route existing. When developing the Deen series they did revisited the Stray Servant concept as the character Tachie, but the work was one again scrapped to make a Fate route adaption.

can't believe how many dlc this game is giving away for free, I hope the major update tomorrow breathes some life into the game they clearly want people to play it and its a nice change of pace from strive where you die in 2 touches every game

3:03 Saber's bob and weave move is buffed? Rekka into cancel into near instant grab is a lot faster than I remember cuz the dash isn't even charged (which makes Saber not throw an attack in favor of catching opponents off guard for a normal throw.)

All those characters look very interesting. But they further emphasize my personal problem, called _canonlyuseonecharactersyndrome_ basically I struggle at playing anyone besides Noel. I wonder if we’ll ever get Hime back…

@@4orinrin The projectiles are just a cherry on top, to make her normals more safe. The real reason behind picking Noel is simply cuz I love using spear characters in fighting games. They are almost always obnoxious somehow

Highkey why not just make a Type Moon fighter then? Having it only be Tsukihime with some fate representatives[or KnK Shiki in the original's case] feels a bit like a waste. Why not just fully make a fighter that crosses over the entirety of Type Moon in a more evenly distributed manner?

What kind of fighter archetype would be for Mash? I do believed that Neco Arc is a Trap Master archetype with all her duplicates moving around her screen but which archetype generally describes Mash playstyle?

perhaps footsies she doesnt have a projectile for neutral to spam out like a shoto, she doesnt have a devestating damage output with grabs like a grappler, she doesnt have a secondary controlable character like a puppet character, she doesnt have multiple stances like a stance character, she doesnt have much range like a zoner and she her kit isnt purely a weird or funny gimmick
