You can denounce being a member to any fraternity/sorority the secret orgs you have to do a lot of praying bc you pledge your life to deities/gods goddesses. A lot people who join want to belong to something or they have family members that's apart of it like a parent which gives them a leg up. When you denounce ur membership it's steps u have to take and some of the members shun you for it, but you have to be prepared for all that. You have to ask JESUS for forgiveness and repent bc it says in the Ten Commandments Thou shalt not have no other gods before me, that's the 1st Commandment.
If you look at his career, and sudden rise to fame, you'll see how membership has its privileges..... I'm sure somewhere down the line he's related to some very influential people... No one just happens to get chosen.

I would disagree... The same is said of Freemasonry but that isn't the case at all. Judging by his comments about the other guys in the club, after joining he probably discovered the mystery surrounding the club was bigger than the secrets and since he didn't feel that sense of brotherhood he felt no obligation to keep those secrets. Rich kids start a club. They can afford to eat at the best restaurants, wear are the best clothes, travel in the summer, go skiing in the winter time. They aspire to build a network that can help them socially, financially, and with their careers. Let's see, who will they invite to be members in their Club? Kids from different socio-economic groups? Not likely! But it's not always where you're from that counts. It's also where you're going. Some rich kids don't have much on the ball. On the other hand, there's guys like this who has energy, charisma, and appears that he's going places in the world. Sure, he appeared to be a good fit for the club and the future network. And as someone else mentioned, i will phase it differently though; each member is only privy to information at the level they have reached and are allowed to reach. That Harvard has supposedly tried to squash the Delphic club is likely a waste of time though maybe well intentioned. Secret societies are similar in some respects to fraternities: likely own their own properties, operate near but off campus and have enough friends in high places.
