Highway diesel, is the natural green color, but anything you use on a farm or a rail yard or if you're driving a yard goat and moving trailers in a storage yard, has to be dyed red so if your vehicle is found to have red dye diesel in it on the highway, you get fined for using non-taxable fuel on taxed roads.
