Not only do I want Clayton Kershaw to finish his career as a Dodger, I hope he can be the first Dodger to reach 3000 strikeouts as well. Another World Series ring would be nice, too. LET'S GO DODGERS!
Man, this bring tears to my eyes! What a career in Dodger Blue! Kersh says that he don't care about legacy and this kind of stuff, but in reality he made a quite big one in this team! It's contagious and joyful see this guy pitching and grinding after a lot of ups and downs! Thank you Clayton, you inspired and still inspire tons of people around the world!!
I was there in person to witness that magical moment. Got the goosebumps and of course, couldn’t avoid shedding a tear from happiness. Go Dodgers. Forever bleed blue
My favourite modern day pitcher. I’m a jays fan and grew up watching Roy Hailday in his prime then once Hailday left Kershaw came around. He’s a gem. I love Kershaw.
Kershaw is my favorite his love for the game is bigger than him and he acknowledges when his team needs him.i mean he was in the bullpen in game 6 was waiting anxiously hoping the guys could get it done but he was willing to put some pitches in for thais team. Love him! Retire a dodger please
watching this I'm glad Torre and Mattingly were his coaches giving him the opportunity to finish games and go deep. Imagine if he was under dave Roberts in the very beginning Kershaw's stats would be cut in half and pulled him outta the Rockies' no-hitter because he pitched over 40 pitches lol Kershaw is the GOAT #GoDODGERS
Those "Mattingly n Torre" are the same coaches that over used him and didn't pull him out when he supposed to in the playoffs which gave him the stigma that he chokes in the playoffs when in reality it was poor management nowadays they get pulled early because of statistics
So here’s the funny thing...I’m a diehard Braves fan, and my favorite uncle is a diehard Dodger fan. He lives to give me a hard time when the Dodgers play because he’s always “picked on me.” I won’t ever be able to admit that I respect Kershaw or that curveball out loud because I know I won’t ever live it down 😂
Kershaw needs to average at least 150 more strikeouts for the next 2 seasons. He should get 3000 strikeouts if he can stay healthy and average that. I think he will finish his career with the following: 235 wins 2.46 ERA 3,246 strikeouts I think he will also take home one more no hitter and cy young. I'm not saying this is guarantee but if he ends up with similar numbers and also get one more award or no hitter he will be unanimous hof
After finding out that they're going to absolutely RUIN the Dodger jerseys next season with some god-awful corporate sponsorship logo, I've definitely gotta get a #22 now...
