TRIBUTE TO THE LATE PRESIDENT. At the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, where the family has worshipped for two generations, homage is offered to the memory of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Richard Cardinal Cushing celebrates the Solemn Pontifical Mass of Requiem. The former First Lady and other members of the Kennedy family are present. The vaulted cathedral is filled to its capacity of 1,800 persons.
Dated 1964 Jan 21. Mass took place Jan. 20, 1964.

Great story! This wasn't the main funeral Mass at November 25, 1963, in St Matthew's Cathedral in D.C. though. This was an additional Requiem Mass 2 months later on Jan 20, 1964. May find something from the main Requiem on your birthday at a later date. Stay tuned!
