This was beautifully done. I didn’t know Elise but after watching this I do know she touched many lives and was loved. I pray for strength and healing for her little girl and all those who loved her.
I’m in shock. My sister and I bust out in tears this morning. Such a lovely and talented soul. We watch channel 2 new every morning. She was like a family member. Condolences to all family & friends.
As a mother, all I ask if to have enough life to rise my daughter to adulthood so she doesn’t have to depend on no one … her daughter is so little I will be praying for her, it is sad not to have a mom at such a young age.
It’s very hard to lose your mom at such an young age. I was 12years old when my mom died of a heart attack while sleeping. I know it’s going hard for her 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 that her Dad and her family will help her get through some of the difficult times she’s going to have to face.
A huge shocker. A beautiful person on and off the camera. Always presented herself with respect. Always on point with the weather forecast. Good looking, intelligent and just a nice warm attitude to see on the news everyday. Even my mother was in disbelief on this one. I can’t believe it still. Still shocked about this unexpected and shocking news. Still really sad 😔 So sad to see a local news anchor and a meteorologists go, we become so familiar with them and take it for granted. She was smart, hard working, and made weather reports very interesting and informative. I hope everyone is doing well :( Edit: some of these comments are very disrespectful, no need to assume anything and mock the situation. It’s really hard for the people most affected by this passing.

I never realized how calming and how much I really enjoyed Elise’s weather forecast. She had such a loving and calm energy to her, perfect to wake up to. I will miss seeing her ever morning on my tv. I hope she is at peace now 😔🙏🏻

I was in utter shock this morning to hear of the loss of Elise Finch. OMG, I was a fan and watched her every morning! I'm so sad for her daughter and husband. Wishing her family, friends and colleagues prayers during this difficult time.
I only saw her once last week and was commenting why the rest of the meteorologist can’t be as thorough and direct and not play games and simply give us the info we want weatherwise. Amazing meteorologist and a great loss
i loved watching her every morning i nearly fell off my bed when my mom woke me up super early in the morning to tell me the news. She will truly be missed and i mean that from the bottom of my heart 🕊️

I am 100% under shock & saddened to hear this news as i was watching the 9:00 Am News on Monday July 17, 2023. And of course i'm close to tears. I just saw her on Friday before her very last show at Channel 2 WCBS TV. I live as of this writing around the corner from the CBS BROADCAST CENTER. A delight to watch her meteorology & other assignments, she loved music did so many interviews & her colleague Cindy Szu very good friends on & off air & all her other news mates. A very pretty lady a mother & wife. My heart is broken as writing this. My feelings goes out to her family & friends in this loss. The broadcast in the mornings will not be the same without Elise Finch. She is so missed. 💔😢😭

I'm 69 been watching channel 2 News since I was a child. It's always been my favorite news , weather and sports station. Had a secret crush on Michele Marsh. Another one who left us to soon. This is such a shocker only 51 and now gone forever. God needed her for some reason. So he took her away from us. She will forever be missed. RIP Elise Finch and Michele Marsh

I'm just heartbroken. I really enjoyed seeing her and hearing her weather report every morning. She was a bright light. Her kind soul radiated from her eyes. To her grieving family anf friends please know that I am keeping you in my prayers.
I couldn't sleep last night. Channel 2 is the 1st thing I watch in the morning. Her personality was so calming that she made me smile to start my day. I pray for her little daughter so young to lose her mommy. May her husband find comfort thru family, friends & colleagues. Rest well, Elise!
