Charlie I know you been to Toronto Canada but the actual worst hoods in Canada are the North End in Winnipeg and North Central in Regina. I'd love to see a vid on one of those
I just spent 3 hellish months in Memphis. Cordova area to be exact. The hoods are disgusting. I saw several years where it looked like they just opened the door and threw the garbage bags in the yard. Knee deep in some yards. Stray dogs and cats everywhere. Every building covered in blk greasy grime.
in a way it makes sense if you spend more time in your car and it flashes a message like your clothes.... in the end you still wind up going home though..... plus, a nice house in the wrong place gets wrong attention....
1:40 Dangerous Parking lot for such a car. I Hope the fence has electrical defense. Like a presentation plate for car thieves or is it some sort of trap for car thieves?.
Can you start putting the street name appear on vids? I be needing to know what residential street you're driving down I'm trying to get into wholesaling
good coverage.. i mean its like anywhere else.. the neighborhoods and homes are just old.. and most are still owned by passed down families or still elders and grandparents.. for the poorer class of people its just gotten too expensive to maintain a house and yard so neighborhoods end up like this. more neighborhoods closer to downtown are being wiped clean with new apts and homes, mostly for rent. home ownership for the poorer is becoming few far and between and being forced into the rental lifestyle
Some people don't want to leave because they are afraid of change... afraid of what they do not know ... others feel safe where they are because nothing has happened to them and they stay out of the mess. Memphis is our city some people choose to stay here and some people decide to level up and move on from what they once knew to discover new opportunities, personally im moving out of Memphis once I go to college because so many kids my age have lost their lives due to our city's violence
You do know bullet don’t know the difference between good folks and bad ,right? I would drive through those areas for a video, you are in Memphis fir god sakes
@@dakiddninosky3611 McMillan ain't far from there and Beale Street don't be crunk like it useta be,I'm straight out of Glenview/South Memphis but I been living in Indiana for bout 4yrs now and I ain't been to Beale Street when I visit unless I go to"The All nighter"on the other end Beale behind the old commercial appeal building
Dang fam can you atleast come up with a new comment!!! It's literally the same on every memphis video. And let me guess you gon say I sound distraught??? 😅😆😂🤣
Charlie if you come back to selma alabama, I'll do aN interview. The most worst of selma is mostly on the east side from the Famous Lannies to Walmart from there back to Broad ST. I want to tell the white boy side of it as I went to city schools all my life. So if I'm in the hood I get profiled but I went to school with people from the hoods. I'm Kool with everyone I'm white boy Dave.
I used to run truck routes through HWY80 (Selma) all the time, my country white ass would be fine there, some of these other places (not soo much) lmao; shout out to the Mississippi boys in Demopolis (inside joke) lmao :D
I like Memphis. Even Elvis wanted to stay there despite his success. I always say that the best food in the World goes from New Orleans all the way up to Memphis!
@@boogitybear2283 Dude, when Elvis was here, he put his house in the countryside, now the only good thing on Elvis Presley Blvd. is Graceland, because there's a shooting a day everywhere else there. He would not have stayed, if he has lived.
@@miltonrogers1395Mil, yes i remember. I was a teenager back then. He was killed by a killer not from Memphis. It was a real sad story when it was on the news.
I got a lot of history on Patton St., you passed all three houses too. My Great Grandmother, My Grandfather, Uncle Charles, Eddie Jennings, My Mother, My Brother, and two of my Nephews.
Retired RN and these were the streets I did home visits on. Many bittersweet memories. Charlie, I have difficulty reading the (few) street signs. Would it be too difficult to say some of them during your ride? It would be nice to know an area location & then I (& others) would see how things have changed (or not) in the areas. 🌻
You can clearly see the streets he's on and the cross streets he passes. He spends a while on Patton and passes streets like Essex and others. Not hard to find, just watch closer and press pause when you see street signs.
