He's an open water swimmer as well and thats how they sight he actually got 4th or 5th in the open water 10k swim in Rio

konner, he got 1st at world champs in kazan 2015 and 2nd last year at world champs in the 10k

That cannot be the time for 8th place. Where did that come from? He was MUCH further behind than that! (Oh, and "FIRST!")

The Purselmer 7th place touched at around the 17:12 mark, and 8th was around 17:47 (35 seconds later) so he should have gotten around 15:47

Thank you! I didn't realize they had already calibrated the earlier heats into the image that came up. I'm an old timer: we had to wait a few minutes to get that feedback! LOL

Oh I see guys, those were the fastest times altogether. Litherland was lane 8 if you watch the introductions.
