The lady on color commentary was awesome and more knowledgeable than most other announcers...knew the names and stories of all major figures in the race and didn’t butcher any names unlike the other guy who usually does these meets
That is how it is done!!! I wish every mid d and distance race was ran this way - open and fluid, ‘catch me if you can’ type of racing!! The Pre way!! Good stuff Dixon!!
Adding up top 4s prs, Miss State 7:13.00 is #2 only behind Iowa with 7:11.72. Miss State has 1:45.5-1:47.0-1:47.5-1:52.9. Iowa has 1:46.9-1:47.5-1:48.5-1:48.7
Weirdly enough, it goes Iowa, Miss State, Ole Miss, Iowa State. Top 4 schools from only 2 states that haven't historically been known for mid d runners
Handy Fix well said brother. 800 meters is the hardest event because you need to own that certain balance of raw speed and durability, andyou also have to be strategic and smart in your head. Thus the people who are successful in it are the bests from the entire world of track🔥
Gábor Lengyel 400m is the king of race because it’s sprinting a whole lap for 400m but 800m is a men’s men’s gladiator Neanderthal savage warrior who got heart race m. That shit don’t play the training don’t play this is for the gods who can handle pain it’s not for the weak
