I completely agree because every 5 minutes there is a portage which spoils the 5000 race which has always been a beautiful test to see full of tactics, now it is full of portages which clearly spoils the race only wins those who eventually do marathons that it's easier
@@jordanpearson4824 No its not tactical, its just breaking up the field, Yes it is tactical for marathon racing but this is a sprint event. Paddling tactics groups and that side of being tactical is being removed from the event and that is what these type of events are about. You are changing the event in ways that it doesnt need changing. Boats are not light weight, no foot pumps and not made for portaging. With such a short format chaos you are simply breaking up the field creating a bun fight and the winners are those that use dont fall over each other or break their boats. That isnt tactics.
The performance at portage is epic from every paddler. WTF are they doing there, I'll fall into water...very nice! Look at the time. They are faster then the most runners in the world. my respect for every paddler for this performance! Fernando is a machine, epic! Mads technique coming into the boat after portage. WTH!
