Go karting was blossoming out of its infancy into one of Australia’s most popular sports in the early 60s.
An indication of how quickly the sport was growing could be seen in the increasing number of entries at meetings.
This 31-event program for men and women was filmed by the ABC’s Sports Cavalcade at the Dandenong Go Kart Club, September 1963.
