By definition any one with ADHD or "abnormal" sweat excretion patterns or heart conditions can't do the test. The test could also be manipulated by other external factors such as temperature, time of day or season. It can also be manipulated by internal factors, such as the individuals mental, as well as physical health. Even the inventor of the polygraph, John Augustus Larson, stated that it wasn't accurate enough to tell if an individual is telling a lie or not, and discouraged it's use in law enforcement.
