But I’ve also noticed that sometimes the most magnetic people have been the ones that have really smiley, expressive facial expressions but are more detached w their actions. Like they’re only at the party or the event for a short time but they make it exciting and sweet for everyone else.. like dessert. They’ve got powerful eye contact and smile with their teeth. They smell nice and look put together. It’s the polarization between their warm presence and their detached mysterious absence when they’re not in the room. I feel like there’s two options. Be colder and more mysterious in person but have a super spontaneous and adventurous lifestyle or, be really smiley and expressive in person and keep your life more private but don’t hide your successes, just downplay them and make other people the center of attention

Yeah and a lot of the times I had given a range of emotions/attitude to some men they dished it back like a sassy azz bItch! Some of them even bullied me with their friends 😂 I just ignored it mostly though it’s not my problem when someone confuses my maturity for being “stuck up” or sensitive

I agreee ! I’m one of those people and I see this all the time but it’s never lasted long. People be forgetting my extremes have two ends I’m bat sht crazy if you try me or if energy isn’t reciprocated I’ll make you question yourself so hard you’ll feel insecure. Alex, you're parenting a lot of folks and I don't think you realize it. This message was spot on. I had a people -pleasing mother who I picked up ALL these bad habits from. I've spent the last couple years undoing these habits and the difference in the respect I've been receiving has drastically changed. And it's making me realize that I've also had less respect over the years for people who have these character flaws.
I have been through so much hard times that I’ve always chosen to smile and be happy and positive through everything because I’ve learned there is no other choice. Forgiveness and resilience are some of the most masterful qualities in this life-- so in some ways it’s been difficult to reverse things to more simple thinking. Life can be hard enough I’m not going to drag the person I love through arguments with me if it’s really not that big of a deal in the long term of our life. It’s too bad these qualities can be mistaken by others without so much experience.
We get conflicting advice about whether or not to call something out. Some people say to do it & some people say not to but take not & move accordingly. I tend to say something once & if it happens again, that’s when you get the consequences & I won’t say shit. People know what they’re doing especially when you say something.
No this doesn't apply to women for the most part. Maybe men. Women are supposed to sound high pitched to a degree and be polite and lovely because it's feminine. It's our nature. There's a difference between being a doormat and being sweet but intelligent and not letting others use u. And men loooove feminine cute women/girls. My boss is a lovely lady but very strict and masculine in demeanor because she's the director but everyone fears her and therefore really don't like her. I'm the bubbly type and every male teacher asked me out or talked about me positively. All the students love me and gather around in my class, even the ones that aren't my original students. They always say I'm the best teacher and I really am touched by that! People do genuinely love sweet women! High pitched and all! But no one can take advantage of me cause I'm also clever. Maybe it's the balance that works in the end. This whole sigma dude and chick works in films only! Once people find out you're pretending to get certain attention then they'll be turned off later. What's attractive is being genuinely u❤
Woman are not supposed to sound high pitched, actually that’s been breed by our up bringing of what a strong woman is. Feminine is not loud, no way how you put it. Loud is the naive way of thinking of power. I talk soft, mellow tone. Doesn’t matter who I talk to, it hold values. Think of the parents that have to over assert themselves in tone to get the message and entice fear in their kids. It’s not y’all nature it’s what’s been accustomed. Tv, movies, music and anything that y’all feed to. That boss can’t switch from masculine to feminine and you’ve learned to use your feminine as a tool of manipulation to get what you want. Sigma is a lifestyle, in which woman loves because woman love confident men. Most woman look at content that are for them and their beliefs. Men have to understand themselves and have to find content about woman. So they can be all around intellectual about things. Woman usually only care to how they feel. As y’all are more emotional by nature. We have to be the critical thinkers and withhold a hell of a lot. As woman won’t ever see our lens unless they turn trans and they even say/cry how they don’t even want it. We don’t live easy street.
I usually agree with you but the first point is moot for me. I’m expressive but have boundaries, I know I dnt need to respond to everything and no response it sometimes the most boss response. Ppl think are sometimes shocked when they see how much I can shut off. Like night and day.
I think that people find that being too expressive simply means whoever will not take advantage of me or use me for the benefit. I could care less who likes me!! A like that will go no where compared to love that will go somewhere!! If someone can’t respect how I feel screw em Allday and night
i just realized "father alex" means like, bc i have "daddy issues" not bc hes a priest well its accurate bc my dad in no way explained any of these dangers and strategies to me in fact he basically used them on me bc he played my mom like she was not a human and he even said that to me after she died
So women having a high pitch voice is a defense mechanism. Women do have an issue which shows up in studies that women can either be respected or liked but not both. This is in contrast with men who are viewed as both. Women who exibit signs that make most people respect men will cause people to dislike them (a boss vs bossy). People tend to like women who are friendly and have a high pitch voice. However, women who are respectable have to watch their backs because people don't like them and will actively try to bring them down. It's terrible but that's the way women are perceived (by men and other women). So having a low voice really only works when you are trying to show you are displeased.
I rather be respected than liked. I think being liked is seeking validation and having to minch ur words and behavior. I feel like if u give off energy where u are respectable people are less likely to try you as they would if u were likable.... I don't think a human can be both respected and liked because ur bound to ruffle a few feathers along the way
@@KimberlyH. You see the issue with that mindset is that you need to be both liked and respected to maximize success. If you are respected but people dislike you then you will naturally have less opportunities. This is why networking is so important and also why popular people are naturally more successful. Who wants you to succeed is just as much, if not more important.
@happygolucky9004 all that to say is it doesn't and shouldn't matter if u are liked... I wouldn't base my success on being liked by people.. people are fickle.
@@KimberlyH. Please read my last post. It absolutely does matter if people like you. If two equally qualified people are interviewed for employment and they have the same qualifications they are going to pick the person they like the most. That's just reality.
