The gyms that will get the most members will be the gyms that flat out ban filming inside the gym. Period. It's a private business, they can enforce the rules. It HAS to be done at this point. I will NOT join a gym these days, no way. Home gym is the way to go. I need to exercise, not socialize.
In France until 2005-2010 there was a tradition of flirting anywhere anytime if we find a girl attractive. It’s amusing to me how women go the gym to get noticed and try to get hit on then get upset when men are more interested in working out. Now they are advising each to go to home improvement stores to meet guys, and don’t understand why they get no attention there either. Normal men don’t go to any store to meet people, ever.

the problem is when they come into your shop wearing that stuff you gotta keep an eye on them to make sure they ain't swiping shit I've had to call out one that shoved a product down their spats like what the fuck I can see the goddam bulge lady and it's was expensive it was a whole thing that took ages and a camera check to finally get it away from me being a 'creep'

I've been embarrassed too much by women like them actually get pissed off because I said hi or something yeah of course I was trying to set up an ice breaker and maybe flirt a bit and get your number a simple no thank you would suffice, the other reason I stop approaching women was simply because I've never been the type of guy that wants to pump and dump and if you are dress sexy/slutty chances are I probably don't wanna make you into my gf or wife and therefore not worth my effort.....And the finale reason it's fucking sad but yes I've seen way too much 15-16 year old girls walking around in bras and booty shorts pull up to their belly buttons just enough to where their ass cheeks hang out and unfortunately I don't suddenly become blind to underage girls when I become an adult. What's even worst is their are girls that are young but look like they're 19 years old when really there only like 15......
I wouldn't assume she is talking about herself, and while she wasn't right for some guys, for others she was. Seemed to me that she was more speaking to being stared at without a follow up action, which is odd behavior socially. Either look a normal amount and then engage or don't stare at people, it's weird. For young women, it can be so constant and so aggressive that it becomes exhausting and infuriating. If you're attractive, you can be standing at the bus stop, in sweat pants, no makeup, hair in a hat, with your period, talking to your mom, at 9am on a Tuesday, and some guy will try to holler. There's no escape. It's usually unwanted when it's one sided and hasn't been encouraged by some reciprocal show of interest.
Guys don't approach women not because they think you're too high value. They don't because you are not attractive enough for the trouble plus many other reasons.
I don't ask out women in the gym because I'm there to workout. Also sometimes in the gym I'll be so focused on what I'm doing I won't even realize I'm staring because I'll be in the middle of the set!

Some personal trainers don't go to the gym with you but you film all your workout every time and show it to them. And they point out your mistakes. I wanted to work with one of them but when I understood that I have to film myself... no, no. There is no way. I already feel very awkward at the gym and have the feeling people look at how stupid things I am doing. This is why now I work out only at home. My social anxiety is at too high level.
I went to the gym last week and this muffin was filming her self working out……I dropped a 50lb dumbbell on her phone she was recording with and the Gym manager told her it is her fault for leaving her phone on the floor. Gyms need to publish their company policy and that it is ILLEGAL to record others in the gym! It is high time that the gyms make it extremely clear that recording any video is not allowed and that any member who chooses to record video will receive one warning on record, and if they record video again the member will permanently lose their memory! The GUMS are guilty of permitting this inappropriate and illegal behavior to take place, and if they don't start being proactive about stopping it -bthe gyms will become liable for damages because they are allowing the person who is recording the video to violate the other people's privacy!

I am older i am in my 40s. So in my 20s when we saw girls like that trying to show off for guys. We called them gym bunnys. When they walked in with a face full of make up, tight everything and hair looking good and not really doing anything to break a sweat. We knew why they were there and it was not to work out.
Rule book for men who go to the gym 1. Stay outside a 50 meter radius of the women at the gym 2. If you are surrounded by women trying to get you into trouble look at the roof or floor 3. If a woman is recording it is time to leave the gym asap before you are called a creep 4. No looking straight ahead 5. No looking in general I am a man too so I will apply this to myself if this happens
I agree ban filming in gyms, but keep an eye out for those sneak filming, cause you know they will. The only ones that should be filming are the owners of the gyms for security.
The difference: the guys at the Gym don't have to pay. Take their online revenue away by guys not paying for the content anymore and watch how quickly Gyms will become as good as they used to be.
I don't feel creeped out by men when they stare at me as I understand the weight stretching I do is unlike anything anyone's seen 😬🤭 One guy at my gym told me, "You're not human," and I laughed because what I did had never been seen. The only person I can envision doing what I do is a Contortionist. Enough said. Now that I've been medically cleared this week, I am going to push myself as much as I can. This also means that the further I advance, the more people will stare because I twist and bend my body in unnatural ways, and that will get attention, not me. I understand that difference. It's what I'm capable of doing and not me, myself, the reason people stare. I rarely notice because im focusing, and I'm in my own little world 😊 There's a huge difference between girls and women 😉

I used to lift weights at University of Florida. There's this thing called a Roman chair. Normally, you do sit-ups on it, but I worked out my back, too. My hips are on a pad, with my ankles locked in a support. I fold my body down, and I come in reverse, like a swan, almost perpendicular to the floor. I took my girlfriend once, and I asked her, "Why do all the women stare at me, when I do this?" She said, "Z, EVERYONE stares at you." I didn't think that there was any sexual intent behind the 'stares'. I think that I was doing something that was rarely done. Also, this was college, where young men are frequently not gentleman. I’m older and disabled now but this whole filming thing was never an issue when I went to the gym. We were all there just to work out. I rarely even spoke to anyone unless it was a trainer or I was playing basketball on the court. I played 5 soccer games a week, 4 of which were coed, and unless they were my homie, I still wasn’t filming anything lol

She's practicing resistance for a stronger impact if she's gotta kick some knees. @@Eye_4_An_Eye It works perfectly where I come from. Women get afternoon time usually from 1 to 4 while men get from 5 to 8 or 9. There are open gyms but for the most part it's separate times.

Gym`s should ban cell phones period. Gym`s were around before cell phones proving you don`t need a cell phone at a gym. If your not there to work out then you don`t belong there.
