@@clarencestewart2731 I was a fast turnover runner, not a strider. Also, did not have the explosiveness (muscle mass) for the 100M. Similar to Pietro Mennea. I was good at the relay and 200M, but could never maintain the turnover on the last stretch of the 400. I was not the worst, but definitely not what was expected. (won the 200M)
Machel Cedenio; he has a history of overtaking the man ahead of him at the end. Take a look at his performance in the third leg of the 2017 WC in London.
last runner was outstanding from TNT TEAM..what a run..because. at 150. meter.. he ran n beleive he can catch up the leader..its olmost impossible..because i m a runner of 4x400..during my school days.congratulation TnT
Machel Cedeno is the chief reason for TnT success in the 4×400m relay on the World IAAF Stage within the past 5 years....he's a 400m runner that should've also already tasted Olympic Glory....but, there's yet time still for him to do so....and so too is Jareem Richards in both the 200m individual & 400m relay team member
You can beat a Trini, but you can't win a Trini. . This time the Trini won. On top of the world, that's where they belong....... CEDENO IS THE MAN.... Shabir Khan. ...a Trini at heart.
snotzboy All of these guys are homegrown. Three had US scholarships college scholarships and Cedenio, the anchor never went to school in the US. He turned pro after winning the World Junior championship in 2014.
Congratulations to T&T are in order. Am however concerned about the USA's current crop of 400 metre runners at major athletics championships. They're underwhelming...twice now I've watched USA's 4x4 relay anchor leg with a comfortable lead literally relinquish it in the final 100 meters. On both occasions, the culprit was T&T, overhauling the USA's anchor leg runner. How have the mighty fallen!
Sameeee i thought their third went out too fast but he ran a great leg. I would have out him last. He gunned his first 200m. Anchor ran a bad front running 400m.
ONE A SUPER CLASS EVENT........ ALL PARTICIPANTS IS SUPER ENERGY FULL, PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, STAMINA FULL, POWERFUL AND STRONG......... IN THIS SITUATION WINER IS SUPER WONDERFUL.........
WoW! I love the subtly, USA (B). USA (A) can get it too. TTO population as a country is smaller or the same as miami dade county. Plus there are faster 400m runners who just don't want to run the 400m.
Just Remember this FACT.....2008 OLYMPICS 400X100... JAMAICA DOPED..... TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO GETS GOLD....Another FACT.. .2012 4X100 OLYMPICS. U.S.A . DOPED... TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO GETS SILVER..BE HONEST AND HUMBLE LIKE A TRINI....... Shabir Khan. A Trini at heart.
I really empathize with the American athlete. People said that he divided, I more believe that he just collapsed with fear. After all, he knew that he had to defend against Cedenio which he knew was way beyond his ability; and of course he would have seen Cedenio run before.
I think the start of all races should be held at a straight line starting. Like is with 100m & 200m. I know it sounds ridiculous. But I've been racing my whole life unprofessionally & I do feel even tho its same distance between intervals, but if you see someone who is far ahead of you it's definitely a serious motivation killer. & Motivation is the 1st of all criterias even above how physically fast someone is. The motivation fades away sometimes unconsciously.
Am I the only American who feels like we look so stupid out on the track running with so many chains on? No wonder we lost the race, we were worried more about being flashy instead of running.
