Polish women have been steadily improving their quality and depth in the 400m, 800m and 1500m over the past decade. It is great to see their 4x400m relay teams consistently in the medal hunt.
Jasper Silvis not so much On world truck in 800 or 1500 ...there are “ other women” dominating that distance..like Caster Semenya, Nyon Saba, Wam Bui. ..you know those one with xy and 3 times higher testosterone levels. Real women don’t have chances to compete..so sad
Our USA third leg faded badly but our 4th leg performed a miracle to get us a second place finish. Congratulations! And congratulations also to the Polish girls who ran a magnificent race.
It's obvious we didn't have our best runners at this event. So, everybody goes crazy over a loss. All of the best runners can't go to every single event. USA's best would win easily. Look at the best times and then look at these times that even the winning team won. It's not even close.
@@tawtam1 That's exactly what I've been telling people. Our best teams RARELY run above 3:20, so the times truly reflect the caliber of our squads. The number 2 and 3 runners looked totally depleted at the end of their runs.

The Russian women were so dominant for years in the 4x400. The Russian women still hold the world record set in the 1988 Olympics. When the Soviet Union broke up into smaller countries in 1991, the Russians still produced good teams, but not like they did before. The 4x400 is my favorite race because its a battle the entire time, there are no breaks in the action. I ran this race for years in school and summer track, it is a very painful race! Running as a team makes it even more exciting. I am going to miss watching Allyson Felix, Sandra Richards-Ross, DeeDee Trotter, Francena Mccrory, and the beautiful Natasha Hastings. So many awesome battles on the track! I know that we have some great women coming up to fill their shoes!
@@cquinn185 Yeah, the world record in the 4 × 400 metres relay (3:15.17) was set by the Soviet team in 1988. But everyone was doped at that time. That's why this record is so hard to beat.
Gratulacje. Serce rośnie. Rewelacja!!! Polak potrafi. Obracam się w środowisku międzynarodowym i rasowym. To są reprezentanci (..tanki) rzeczywiście tego kręgu kulturowego. Widzę reakcje środowiska wokół mnie. Naprawdę zazdroszczą , że osiągamy sukcesy ,,własnymi silami,, . Widzą ,że nie mamy żadnych ,,dopalaczy genetycznych,, i jesteśmy najlepsi i to od dłuższego czasu. Pomyślcie Państwo jak zostaliśmy ,,przeczesani,, przez ostanie szczególnie 70 lat a jednak można, można byłoby nie tylko w tym obszarze, ale i innych sferach życia, ale za dusze spustoszenie w strukturze społecznej (to najważniejsze) i bardzo dusza niechęć tzw. szeroko rozumianego otoczenia. Jestem dumny , że jestem Polakiem! Dziękuję Wam !

Congratulations, Poland!!! Job well done! I used to run that relay, as well. This brings back great memories! People, leave derogatory comments out of this. This is track, a sport. There’s enough ugliness in this world already without everyone else adding in their own ugliness. If you can’t say something nice, but must comment something ugly then chances are high that you are just reflecting your own ugly personality. It’s high time we spread unity in this world and actually come together. Want to go after someone(s)? Then truly go after the people higher-ranked than us that help keep this nastiness in the world going for power and as a distraction. 😉
There are probably 7 countries that can run 3:27 equivalent to Polands time but there is only one country that can run under 3:20 and the USA proved that with their gold medal win in the world championships yesterday.
Just want to mention that the 3:27.49 time that the Polish team posted, was bettered by FIVE COLLEGE TEAMS in last months NCAA Championship. In fact the second place U.S.A. team in this event posted a faster time in their qualifying heat, and this is not even their best team. In fact, with bad exchanges on all the legs, the USA team still almost won.All I am saying is... TAP THE BREAKS. The WC likely will be much different.

Proud of Polish girls! It seemed for decades that all white team can't win but ... . The result could be a bit better if Justyna hadn't left some space which a Jamaican took advantage of to get forward. That was a fault of Justyna that should never more happen. Greets for the gorgeous Polish runners and everybody wathing it from a Polish guy from Poland!
@@INecr0 I don't but I do remember the East Germany doping scandal during that same time frame. And the rumor's about Flo Jo who anchored that 1988 relay team that came a close second to Russia and set the American record.
